“As a result of Judge Kessler’s order of yesterday which set a hearing for Wednesday, November 28, 2007…on whether the injunction prohibiting Jeane’s suit against a former escort should be dissolved, Jeane has this day sought from the Clerk of Court subpoenas for Sen. David Vitter and Harlan Ullman, former customers of Paula Neble, an independent-contractor escort of Jeane’s escort service,” Deborah Jeane Palfrey’s lawyer Montgomery Blair Sibley has revealed.

In July, Vitter’s number turned up in Palfrey’s business records. A former hooker has since claimed an affair with him as well.

To those who question whether Wendy Cortez (aka Wendy Ellis) came forward with revelations about her four-month relationship with Sen. David Vitter only to profit financially, Larry Flynt again says, “no way.” On Dan Abrams’ MSNBC program tonight Flynt explained that Cortez came to him before he ever offered her any money to pose in Hustler. Only later, after he determined he liked the looks of her body, was that plan hatched.

Earlier today Big Head DC revealed that Cortez is scheduled to appear in the smut mag in January — and that Flynt is helping her to secure a book deal.

At a press conference today where he denounced lies by Sen. David Vitter, Hustler publisher Larry Flynt said that he will be paying Wendy Cortez (aka Wendy Ellis), the woman who claims to have had a several months-long affair with the Senator, to appear in the January issue of his hardcore smut rag. The amount of payment was not disclosed.

Wendy Cortez (aka Wendy Ellis) said during a press conference today that her relationship with Sen. David Vitter — and the money it afforded her — “enabled my drug abuse.”

Cortez decided to get clean on May 10, 2004, the day her husband died — and almost five years since Vitter had paid her for sex.

“I want the truth to be known,” Wendy Cortez (aka Wendy Ellis) said at a press conference today held in Larry Flynt’s office in Beverly Hills. “Because I have been called a liar.”

Cortez says it’s Sen. David Vitter who’s calling her a liar, since, after it was revealed two months ago that he had used the “DC Madam’s” escort service, he said that he had never cheated on his wife in any other circumstances. In fact, he said that he had never cheated at all in a 2004 radio interview.

The reformed prostitute is adamant that he had a “purely sexual” relationship with her from July through November of 1999 — a time when he was very married to his wife, who is coincidentally named Wendy.

Cortez said today that she and Vitter met approximately three times a week. “He was a very clean man,” she said. “I have to give him that.” Read more…

Larry Flynt, the publisher of Hustler magazine, is mad. Damn mad.

Two months ago Sen. David Vitter (R-Lousiana) took a weeklong vacation after Flynt’s investigative journalist Dan Moldea revealed that he had used the services offered by ”DC Madam” Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

The Senator quickly apologized before television cameras with his wife Wendy Vitter at his side, saying that his adulterous behavior had happened only one time.

Then, he returned to the Senate, literally received high-fives from his Republican colleagues, and settled back in to business as usual.

Meanwhile, Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was outed for soliciting sex from a male in a bathroom in Minnesota in the latter part of this August. In record time, almost all Republican leadership denounced him, and top officials, including Sen. John McCain, asked for his resignation. Sen. David Vitter is keeping mum as Larry Flynt prepares to meet the press today with special guest Wendy Cortez, a Louisiana-based escort who claims Vitter is lying when he says the only time he cheated on wife Wendy Vitter was with girls who worked for “DC Madam” Deborah Jeane Palfrey.

Joel Digrado, Vitter’s spokesman, will not comment on the Flynt news conference. In an e-mail to the AP, Digrado said, “Sen. Vitter and his wife have addressed all of this very directly. The senator is focused on important Louisiana priorities like the water resources bill and the Iraq debate.” Read more…
