BHDC 'UFOs' File:

kucinich-ufo1.jpgBig Head DC is sort of obligated to pay attention when the likes of Shirley MacLaine says Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich once saw a UFO flying over her home, and that it tried to communicate through his mind. In fact, last fall we devoted far too many entries to it, and Kucinich himself was forced to go on the record regarding his experience in a well-publicized debate featuring Tim Russert as host.

Now we learn from an unlikely source - the Wall Street Journal, the business paper of record - that Kucinich seems to be ashamed, and didn’t want to tell the publication the details of his close encounter. But a couple of people who were with him on one fateful day 25 years ago have spilled the goods.

“At no time did I feel afraid, even though I felt very small,” one witness, Paul Costanzo, an assistant to the actress, told the paper. “I sensed that I was in the presence of a greater technology and intelligence.” Costanzo also helped lead Kucinich’s failed bid for the presidency in 2004.

Costanzo’s girlfriend, who also saw a spaceship, which approached over Kucinich’s head, had ”a sense that something extraordinary was happening all day,” she said, adding that none of the three consumed alcohol or took drugs.

Both Costanzo and his girlfriend told the WSJ that the craft emitted a quiet, throbbing sound, and they had a “feeling of wanting to communicate something.” The craft soon sped away, with no aliens disembarking.

Kucinich, 61, declined several requests to comment for the article, although MacLaine said he gave her permission to write about his experience in her book, Sage-ing While Age-ing.

“I should have said, ‘Yeah, Tim. It spoke to me and said: Take me to your leader. And I said: Well, not this guy. He doesn’t like illegal aliens,’” Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich recently told a crowd of supporters after admitting to Tim Russert that he’d seen a UFO.

A new abrad2345 video magically appeared today. This one focuses on Hillary’s support of driver’s licenses for illegal aliens (and Dennis Kucinich’s sighting of little green aliens). The ending is a bit of a departure for abrad2345, perhaps indicating an end to the series? Whether this is a finale, or not, note the clues indicating this one was shot in DC.

kucinich-ufo1.jpgThe ramifications of Dennis Kucinich’s shocking revelation that he saw a UFO while visiting Shirley MacLaine never seem to end. In this week’s Democratic debate, the congressman pulled Jimmy Carter into the mess, saying that he knew for a fact that the former president had seen a UFO, too. And now the media has pressed poor Carter on it.

“When I was back as a peanut farmer in southwest Georgia, I and about 25 others saw something in the air that changed colors and was round and came and left,” Carter said in an interview with CNN’s John Roberts today. “We couldn’t figure out what it was.” Read more…

Filed under: Government, Bill Richardson, UFOs

ufo.jpgIn a post-debate interview Bill Richardson told MSNBC’s Chris Matthews that he doesn’t believe the U.S. government has done enough to shed light on UFO phenomena. The New Mexico governor added that while he has never personally seen a UFO, he thinks the government has classified far too many documents involving sightings, which has helped to foster conspiracy theories about their existence. The city of Roswell, he noted, is the site of an alleged UFO crash, and is a large tourism draw in his home state.
