Barack Obama’s recent appearance on the campus of the University of North Carolina to hoop it up with the Tar Heels basketball team broke an NCAA rule, but the athletic association will ignore it due to a “great opportunity for the student-athletes to interact with a presidential candidate,” said NCAA media relations director Eric Christianson.

At issue is North Carolina’s coach attending the scrimmage and the timing of the game, which was held during a period when scrimmages are generally not permitted.

“We’re going to round the bases,” exclaimed Hillary Clinton to a crowd at a minor league baseball game today in Indiana. “We’re going to score a lot of runs and we’re going to feel really good about the home team, namely the American team, the team we’re all a part of!”

For once she wasn’t taking a swing at Barack Obama.

Give the rock to Barack.

Obama helped lead his team past a group of high school students in basketball hungry Indiana. Proving his politics aren’t the only thing that’s on the left, he even nailed a “nifty” left-handed three-pointer.

Clearly he can play ball better than he bowls but the question remains, is he a ball hog?

For those scoring at home, Obama netted a hefty third of his team’s 15 total points. (Thanks for the correction, those of you who were actually scoring at home)
