DCRTV broke the news several months ago. And now ABC News makes it official. Its Sunday political talker “This Week” will be moving from ABC’s downtown DC news bureau to the new Newseum news biz museum near Capitol Hill.

But host George Stephanopoulos might want to wait a while to try Wolfgang Puck’s new Newseum restaurant. As we reported this spring, a Sports Illustrated party celebrating the mag’s annual swimsuit issue “turned into a health scare for stars in Hollywood after a caterer working for celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck may have exposed them to acute Hepatitis A.”

When the shrine to journalism known as the Newseum finally re-opens later this year, we hear that several items of clothing from active journalists will be on display, including the fuzzy pink slippers of Ana Marie Cox and the grandma sweaters of Helen Thomas. The bloody vest worn by ABC’s Bob Woodruff when he was injured by a roadside bomb in Iraq in 2006 will be on display as well. And you thought Dorothy’s ruby reds at the Smithsonian were the only old clothes worth leaving the house for!

The culinary captain Wolfgang Puck is reportedly pumped to start up his new restaurant when the Newseum finally opens this fall. But there’s good reason not to share in his excitement — today, at least.

According to Reuters, a Sports Illustrated party celebrating the mag’s annual swimsuit issue “turned into a health scare for stars in Hollywood after a caterer working for celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck may have exposed them to acute Hepatitis A.”

“Carl Shuster, president of Wolfgang Puck Catering, said the company was working closely with health officials to contact anyone who ate food prepared in its Hollywood kitchen between February 1 and 20.” One such guest was Beyonce (who looked fine at the Oscars, so we’re pretty sure she’s safe).

Unless you were at the party, you probably don’t have to worry: no Wolfgang Puck pre-packaged foods or restaurants were affected.
