Montgomery Blair Sibley, the former lawyer for alleged “D.C. Madam” Deborah Jeane Palfrey has provided Big Head DC with his initial comments on the guilty verdict rendered against her on Tuesday.

Sibley said he’s “disappointed, but not surprised” by the verdict, and added that he has not yet spoken to Palfrey. He does anticipate that there will be an appeal.

Preston Burton, Palfrey’s current lawyer who once represented Monica Lewinsky, has instructed his client to remain mum on the verdict, but she did let out an audible gasp when it was read in court.

Palfrey was found guilty of racketeering, money laundering and two counts of using the mail for illegal purposes. Sen. David Vitter is believed to have used what Palfrey has always maintained is a “fantasy” escort business.

Burton called no witnesses in Palfrey’s defense, and she did not take the stand.

Some overeager entrepreneurs, hoping to make a load of quick cash based on recent sexist comments shouted at Hillary Clinton on the campaign trail, are the latest to jump on the candidate’s politically-ailing back.

The creators of DirtyWord.net are already selling shirts that cost over $20 with the slogan “Iron My Shirt” printed on the front. The phrase refers to words yelled at Clinton during by hecklers on Monday who were forcibly removed from one of her speeches.

The shirts are available in both male and female styles and sizes. And Monica Lewinsky should be happy, too. A classic thong, priced at $12.99, is available featuring the phrase as well.

Word is dropping that former Illinois Rep. Henry Hyde has passed away today at the age of 83. He served in Congress from 1975 to 2007. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom earlier this month.

Hyde became infamous as a hypocrite during the impeachment proceedings toward President Bill Clinton after Salon.com published a story, “This Hypocrite Broke Up My Family,” which indicated that from 1965 to 1969, Hyde had an extramarital sexual affair with Cherie Snodgrass. Hyde had readily pursued the impeachment of Clinton based on his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

At that time, Snodgrass was married to another man with whom she had had three children. “The Snodgrasses divorced in 1967, according to Wikipedia. “The affair ended when Snodgrass’ husband confronted Mrs. Hyde.”

Although Hyde was forty-one years old and married at the time of the affair, he dismissed it as one of his “youthful indiscretions.”

The London Times, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch, is now covering tawdry allegations that Hillary Clinton may be a lesbian. An article published over the weekend shines new light on a rumored Clinton affair with her Muslim aide Huma Abedin.

Matt Drudge picked up the story over the weekend via a banner headline. It was Drudge who first thrust the Bill Clinton / Monica Lewinsky scandal into the mainstream.

While Hillary publicly denied being a lesbian during an interview in September, she was not asked about being bisexual, nor about her relationship with Abedin. Her support among gay leaders is said to be at an all-time high.
