A video attempting to bring down the Hillary Clinton campaign was exposed as a fabrication today. The video, which spread rapidly across the Internet due to promotion from political blogs and over 4,000 users voting for it on Digg.com, claimed that long-time Clinton family friend and adviser Mickey Kantor used derogatory language to describe residents of Indiana in 1992.
The Clinton campaign told CNN the clip was “doctored” and an upset Kantor asked The Huffington Post to stop running the story because it helps to extend the libel. The video has since been removed and hidden on YouTube.
We’ll let you guess which candidate’s supporters were behind this blatant attempt to influence voters in hotly-contested Indiana.
