Big Head DC can exclusively confirm that old violet eyes has phoned ex-husband Sen. John Warner at Inova Fairfax Hospital to check up on his health status. The 80-year-old senator had a procedure to correct an atrial fibrillation yesterday and is undergoing another procedure today, according to a statement issued by his office.
“He was surprised that Liz made the call,” an insider close to the situation tells us. “It made him smile.”
Taylor, no stranger to hospitals herself, is said to be deeply concerned about her former lover. The duo was married from 1976 through 1982. Warner wed real estate agent Jeanne Vander Myde in 2003.

Shaky Liz recalled the trauma in an interview with Michael Kors in the August ‘06 edition of Harper’s Bazaar:
