The most intriguing part of the new Wall Street Journal interview with President Jimmy Carter is perhaps not that he called Barack Obama “extraordinary,” as CNN is currently highlighting, but that Carter didn’t pull a full Teddy Kennedy and throw an endorsement behind the junior Senator.
