Just a few hours after the scandalous Sen. John McCain affair story was published in the New York Times, there was a rash of simultaneous Google searches for “Huma Abedin.” As Big Head DC has covered previously, Abedin is a close campaign aide to Sen. Hillary Clinton.

It’s unknown at this point why so many people apparently spontaneously googled Abedin’s name at the exact same time, but there has been speculation in the past on the Internet and in a report published by a Rupert Murdoch-owned newspaper about the nature of her relationship with Clinton.

Five percent of the Web traffic for the searches resulted from Atlanta, according to Google. The search engine called the results “volcanic.” More people, too, were searching for her name than “Vicki Iseman,” the woman mentioned in the explosive McCain New York Times story.

Has a rival campaign put out some sort of secret release mentioning Abedin?

Contrary to a curious report in the New York Post this week, Big Head DC has learned that Hillary Clinton’s top traveling aide, Huma Abedin, is not dating bachelor Rep. Anthony Weiner. A source close to Abedin shares that the political glamour gal is “just friends” with Weiner, but is dating someone else. And that person is apparently intimately involved with the Clinton campaign.

“I can’t help but want to support my own gender, and she’s as experienced as any of the others — except maybe Joe Biden,” the infamous Gennifer Flowers said of Hillary Clinton in a recent AP phone interview from her home in Las Vegas.

“I would love to see a woman president, I just didn’t think it would be her,” Flowers added.

Flowers, a former television reporter, claimed in the early 1990s to have had a 12-year affair with Bill Clinton when he served as Arkansas governor.

During the Paula Jones legal proceedings, the former president ultimately admitted to having been with her once.

“I don’t have any interest whatsoever in getting back out there and bashing Hillary Clinton,” Flowers said in the new interview. However, in her 1995 book, Passion & Betrayal, the lounge singer said that Bill made clear to her that Hillary is a lesbian.

The lesbian allegation continues to haunt Hillary today — even though she denies it. Several new rumors allege a recent Hillary affair with her sexy female Muslim aide Huma Abedin.

The London Times, which is owned by Rupert Murdoch, is now covering tawdry allegations that Hillary Clinton may be a lesbian. An article published over the weekend shines new light on a rumored Clinton affair with her Muslim aide Huma Abedin.

Matt Drudge picked up the story over the weekend via a banner headline. It was Drudge who first thrust the Bill Clinton / Monica Lewinsky scandal into the mainstream.

While Hillary publicly denied being a lesbian during an interview in September, she was not asked about being bisexual, nor about her relationship with Abedin. Her support among gay leaders is said to be at an all-time high.

The District ranks sixth for cities with the largest percentage of likely gay male couples. And that’s not even counting all the senators who live fabulously in D.C. when Congress is in session. For those of you wondering about Hillary and Huma, Washington ranks only 76th for likely lesbian couples.

With all the new rumors popping up about Hillary Clinton’s alleged affair with her aide Huma Abedin - and the possibility that the LA Times is holding a story about it - many tipsters have reminded us of page 42 of Gennifer Flowers’s 1995 book, Passion and Betrayal. Starting on that page, Bill Clinton’s ex-flame says that he very clearly told her that Hillary is a lesbian:

“There’s something you need to know. I’ve been hearing tales around town that Hillary is having another thing with a woman.” I watched his face to see his reaction, and couldn’t believe it when he burst out laughing. I was stunned! I asked him what was so funny. “Honey,” he said, “she’s probably eaten more pussy than I have.”

Bill said he had known for a long time that Hillary was attracted to women, and it didn’t really bother him anymore. His first clue came from her lack of enjoyment of sex with him. She didn’t like to experiment and insisted on the missionary position and nothing else. Because she wasn’t enjoying herself; neither was he. Sex with her became a duty; nothing more.”

Flowers, of course, has a reason to hold a grudge, but her old tales make for quite an interesting background for the current crop of rumors, no?

“The ‘brains’ surrounding Hillary Clinton didn’t make any friends last Friday at Condé Nast when they balked on a firm, long-standing commitment to let the candidate pose for Vogue, while the astute Julia Reed hung ten waiting to write about her and the giant fotog Annie Leibovitz had her cameras at the ready for nothing,” Liz Smith tells us today. “A source inside Hillary’s camp supposedly informed the Vogue contingent they’d decided some time ago not to honor the commitment, but Vogue wasn’t told until the last minute.”

Why the last minute dump? “Handlers for the senator decided Vogue would be ‘too elitist’ and Hillary might come off as ‘too glamorous,’” Smith says.

More strange is that Hillary already appeared in Vogue in 1998. Guess she didn’t mind appearing elite during the White House years? Also, the Hillary camp didn’t have a problem when her top aide Huma Abedin appeared glamorously in the mag earlier this year.

Only a day after new rumors surfaced regarding Hillary Clinton’s relationship with top aide Huma Abedin, someone tried to delete her Wikipedia entry, which currently contains this line: “The Internet is abuzz with rumors that Ms. Abedin is, in fact, a lesbian lover of Hillary Clinton.”

The user who submitted a request to delete Huma did so just this morning. A commenter identifies the person making the request as Steven Andrew Miller, and calls him a potential “partisan deletionist” of controversial political entries. Several commenters have already requested that the entry remain on Wikipedia.

A major sex scandal story involving one of the leading presidential candidates is believed to be soon published by the LA Times, Big Head DC has learned. Details are slowly trickling in through people who’ve heard about the story, and with Larry Flynt saying he’s set to reveal a “huge” sex scandal story involving a sitting senator in the coming days, the rumors seem to be gathering traction.

“So I was down in DC this past weekend and happened to run into a well-connected media person, who told me flatly, unequivocally that ‘everyone knows’ the LA Times was sitting on a story, all wrapped up and ready to go about what is a potentially devastating sexual scandal involving a leading presidential candidate,” reports Pajamas Media’s Ron Rosenbaum. “‘Everyone knows’ meaning everyone in the DC mainstream media political reporting world. ‘Sitting on it’ because the paper couldn’t decide the complex ethics of whether and when to run it.
