Bill Keller, the New York Times’ top editor who bears responsibility for the publication of the Sen. John McCain / Vicki Iseman affair article, may have once had an extramarital affair himself — with his current wife Emma Gilbey, according to research dug up by Deceiver.com. Which would go far in partially explaining why Keller was pretty reticent to unload this piece in the first place. Guilty hearts, and all. FYI: Gilbey was once romantically involved with Sen. John Kerry.
