What’s worse than dressing your dogs up in clothes? Making them work for food. That’s just what the First Family is doing to their poor Scottish Terriers Barney and Miss Beazley, as illustrated by the below evidence, which we’ve pieced together from some suspicious “holiday” video released today by the White House.

George W. Bush, Laura Bush, Jenna Bush, Barbara Bush and several high-ranking government officials are accomplices. Dear Lord, what is next!!?? Somebody please help these pooches. Please. Help. It’s the Christmas season, for God’s sake.

Newsweek’s Andrew Romano is saying that Meghan McCain, daughter of John McCain, has definitely got the most potential to be a White House wild child, if her dad is elected to the presidency. And he should know! Young Meghan was once an intern at Newsweek. She must have done something pretty nasty! Tipsters?

Back in May 2006 Jenna Bush was spinning away on - what else? - a spin machine when the instructor of her DC Sports Club class took a few cheap shots about her dad’s “stupidity” and handed out DVDs highlighting a few of the more goofy Bushisms.

The wily instructor Glenn Makl soon claimed not to know that Jenna was in his class and that he was “horrified” to find out what he had done (he’s a lawyer, too, kids).

That was after Jenna’s now-fiance Henry Hager called Makl up and gave him a verbal shake-down. (Remember, Hager once worked for Karl Rove, so he’s probably pretty good at all sorts of shake-downing).

When we talked to Makl recently he said he’d always remember Hager’s call: “The kid was steaming mad,” he told Big Head DC. “He wanted to protect her.”

Ah, how sweet. But the tongue-lashing couldn’t have been too too severe. After all, the controversial spin class instructor returned as a substitute spinner at the club earlier this year.

And Jenna, apparently, hasn’t worked out since.
