According to Jossip, we’ll have to wait until a Wednesday night cocktail party to see Mediabistro’s (or should we say Jupitermedia’s?) Laurel Touby formally constrict her boa around the new TVNewser blogger, Chris Ariens, a 37-year-old former MSNBC producer who currently lives in Hoboken with his dog Nibbles. Ariens is a much older and much more single replacement for Brian Stetler, local Towson U. wunderkind who’s always liked too many donuts, but no one would say it out loud. As Stetler begins work at the NY Times today, we’ve already noticed that  Ariens has devoted 8 of his last 13 posts to covering NBC Universal companies. So watch out, Chris Matthews, he’s coming for you.
