Apparently the job of taking attendance fell to Roosh on Friday, since Kathryn made sure everyone knew she’d be in New York. I can just imagine him, perched on a stool with a notebook and a fluffy pink pen, writing down names and concocting lame descriptions of all the participants.

It must have been hard for to come up with positive things to say. I guess all the nastiness takes place behind everyone’s back, as evidenced by his comments on Ninja’s site.

Update, 8:22 p.m.: The picket and boycott were a smashing success! Thanks for showing up, kids!

Update, 7:27 p.m.: Charlene is giving a speech against sexism, racism and homophobia. VK has been watching the protest from the entryway, shaking his head.

Update, 7:19 p.m.: Roosh is looking out the door.

Update, 7:12 p.m.: GBF is now being interviewed for radio.

Update, 7:03 p.m.: 7 more picketers just showed up.

Big Head DC is here along with approximately 30 - 35 supporters of the Blogger Happy Hour boycott. Roosh and VK just crossed the picket line to enter the bar to loud boos and heckles from the crowd. A chant of “Hell No We Won’t Go to Blogger Happy Hour” has picked up steam — passerbys have no idea what’s going on.

It’s a crazy scene out here, kids.

We just posted this item on the DC Blogs site in response to the editor’s item on the blogger happy hour boycott:

Pat,

Perhaps needless to say I agree 100% with the “They egged his house” commenter. You have somehow been sucked in to thinking Big Head DC is something that it is not.

But you’ve openly support Kathryn’s homophobic slurs and slander, Roosh’s sexism and Roosh and VK’s real-life violence and threats. You have fallen into a web of lies all three of them have concocted.

No one associated with BHDC would have ever contacted anyone’s workplaces, nor created fake blogs about their families, nor came to their houses and caused damage. All three of these things have been done to me and others in this community.

If you don’t support the boycott of the Roosh and VK happy hour, that’s your choice. But for DC Blogs to support sexism, racism, homophobia and violence is outrageous.
