I’m no fascist (more likely a sports fashionist), but America’s pastime has really screwed up this time. Let’s take a silly concept to begin with — a cap that multi-millionaire players only wear while practicing before a game — and put red and orange splotches above the ear. How innovative.

Too bad Orioles’ owner Peter Angelos can’t do something useful to the O’s uniform like, you know, put “Baltimore” back on the road jersey. You don’t have to be ashamed that your team doesn’t play in Washington, Peter.

Although your ballpark is a lot nicer, for now, until the Nats finish their spending spree on their new stadium.
