Page Six reports that “the unholy union between wacky conservative TV pundit/author Ann Coulter and former City Council president and Democrat Andrew Stein” is over. When reached for comment by the gossip page, Stein explained, “We split because of irreconcilable differences.” Surprise! The odd couple dated for over two months.

permalinkDemocratic presidential candidate John Edwards has had some pretty big squabbles with Ann Coulter this year, mainly because she likes to call him gay and say he’s had affairs, but that hasn’t stopped him from posting these pro-Coulter pics in his official campaign 2008 flickr account:

Lawrence O’Donnell, an MSNBC political pundit, has already taken a lot of heat for calling Mormonism “demented, Scientology-like” and rooted in racism, and now he’s taking on the Islamic faith, too. In a recent interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, O’Donnell bashed the religion as follows:
HH: Would you say the same things about Mohammed as you just said about Joseph Smith?LO: Oh, well, I’m afraid of what the…that’s where I’m really afraid. I would like to criticize Islam much more than I do publicly, but I’m afraid for my life if I do.
HH: Well, that’s candid.
LO: Mormons are the nicest people in the world. They’re not going to ever…
HH: So you can be bigoted towards Mormons, because they’ll just send you a strudel.
LO: They’ll never take a shot at me. Those other people, I’m not going to say a word about them.
HH: They’ll send you a strudel. The Mormons will bake you a cake and be nice to you.
LO: I agree.
What’s up with O’Donnell lately? Does he have a book coming out, or something? Has he made some sort of publicity pact with Ann Coulter?
With the Hillary Clinton Nutcracker breaking all sales records this holiday season, the creator of the novelty item decided to ask the American public whom they’d like to next receive the stainless steel thigh treatment. And, with over 10,000 votes cast at HillaryNutcracker.com, Ann Coulter is the definitive people’s choice.
“We have notified Ms. Coulter by e-mail, but are not sure if she will respond due to her dislike of publicity,” Gibson Carothers, the creator of the Hillary Nutcracker, announced today in a press release.
“I think she has the ability to laugh at herself, and would not be surprised if she said “let’s do it,’” Carothers tells Big Head DC. “And if that happens, I think we will.”
On another ballot question from the site, President George W. Bush defeated former President Bill Clinton as “the nut people would most like to see cracked.”
P.S. Over 130,000 of the Hillary Nutcrackers have sold to date. Hillary-ious!

Big Head DC hears that Ann Coulter has taken to traveling under the fake name Elise Wilde while on tour for her new book. It seems her real name causes some people not to want to sit by her on planes. How she chose the name is anyone’s guess, but it’s no big secret that she considers herself a wild and crazy gal.

“Homo-hating columnist Ann Coulter was caught dining this week at Murano’s—’a popular new gay eatery’ in Los Angeles owned by a couple of lesbians and a gay party promoter,” reports Radar. ”Leaving aside the question of whether or not this is hypocrisy on Coulter’s part (and the more important question of what makes a restaurant gay: Is it only sexually attracted to other restaurants of a similar bent?), this news brings up a larger, more disturbing issue: Ann Coulter eats?”
“On the issue of her supposedly anti-Semitic remarks, I’m a Jew, and Joe Lieberman is her favorite Democrat,” Ann Coulter’s boyfriend Andrew Stein tells Page Six. “While I disagree with her on a lot of issues, she is a strong supporter of Israel and doesn’t have an anti-Semitic bone in her body.”
Stein, a Democrat, is the former NYC Council president.
