Well, well, it looks like somebody lost his star — thanks to Big Head DC’s relentless pursuit of the truth, no doubt.

Pretend-cowboy Al Hopkins, who was illegally using the Dallas Cowboys logo in his campaign for Mississippi attorney general up until, um, today, has removed the controversial logo from his site. His opponent, we hear, has been sticking it to him ever since we first noted the strange similarity earlier this week. 

For a guy running a campaign based on honesty, Hopkins seems a tad shady to us. We’ll be watching!

Al Hopkins, not content with stealing the Dallas Cowboys logo, is trying to pull another fast one by stealing the identity of a real cowboy. Al Hopkins, running for attorney general in Mississippi, knows how to handle a campaign. He served on committees to elect George W. Bush and Dubya’s dad, too. Al also campaigned for Trent Lott, so he’ll have someone to call when he has to resign for stealing logos from the Dallas Cowboys and the men’s lacrosse team at Johns Hopkins.
