I understand that Larry Sinclair has arrived in St Paul, megaphone in hand, anti Obama iron on shirt, and signs. He plans to call out Chris Mathews to come and talk to him.
This is going to be fun!!

    Yup, that’s about right.

Hey, remember when James Dobson asked everyone to pray for rain on the night Barack was to give his speech? I wonder how he is spinning that a hurricane came to screw with the Republican convention.

    Palin….early October surprise.

Let the spin begin James and Chisholm, because it is hiLIARious!

Hey James, let’s keep in touch. Maybe November 5 you will finally admit that the old man is toast.

As I said before, this shit is just gettin’ started and it is better than any soap opera.

    Cheers!

Oh, you guys are STILL on Larry Sinclair. How relevant. Larry with a megaphone. He won’t seem crazy at all. I’m sure that 9 months later he will FINALLY get his say and be the turning point of this election. At least he still has loyal followers. I hope you have sent him LOTS of money for his endeavor. I think the MSM is going to pick this story up any day now.

#12…They will all just spin it like good little hypocrites. You know, kids will be kids and such. Nevermind that Palin can’t control her kids, much less a country. In a related story, it was only a matter of time until they found the guy who knocked up Bristol Palin the 17-year-old daughter of John McCain’s running mate Sarah Palin. And, boy, is this kid amazing. Meet future shotgun groom Levi Johnston who, in a triumph of the human spirit, makes Casey Aldridge and Kevin Federline look they should be on the space program. The New York Post has the details:

On a MySpace page subsequently taken down, Johnston boasts, “I’m a fuckin’ redneck” who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes.
“But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some shit and just fuckin’ chillin’ I guess.”
“Ya fuck with me I’ll kick [your] ass,” he added.
He also claims to be “in a relationship,” but states, “I don’t want kids.”

You just can’t make this shit up. Can you say “forced marriage?” How ’bout “statutory rape?” Good, I knew that you could.

If that helps you deflect, you do what you have to do because I’m sure no one else in the world uses that phrase except for the person you mentioned. I just got back from Napa Valley and guess what? They LOVE to say “cheers,” I guess it rubbed off. But for you, I will be John Excalibur…do you want me to change my posting name for you? Would that help in your whole conspiracy theory? Are you sure you don’t work for the FBI? CIA? You just seem to have that gut instinct and knack for finding relevant information that makes you seem right. YOU should work for the government. She’s embroiled in at least one scandal (that we know of), and it appears that in the 90s she was a memeber of a secessionist party, with whom she still cutlivates good relations, and whose 2008 convention she addressed from the Governor’s Office, telling them to “keep up the good work.”

    Talk about Country First.

Please tell me, with the election hinging on independents, how does a blatant gyno-pander with a candidate who thinks abortion should be outlawed even in rape and incest, who thinks global warming has nothing to do with human activity, and who thinks creationism should be taught in schools help the GOP? Because I’m having a hard time seeing it. Once the limmerance of McCain’s pick wears off, how does Palin really help him?

I did not slander SP, the media took care of all of that. Though I must say, there is a smorgasbord of issues to discuss about her. Slander would imply that these statements aren’t true about SP and unlike Larry Sinclair, there is actual proof to the contrary. Maybe McPOW should have met with his running mate more than once. Great judgement, McGoo.
I don’t “slander” Larry because he is a non-issue. Anyone that gives him the time of day either supporting him or against him is wasting time (and sometimes money, but hey, people can choose to squander if they want).

    Shannon,

Even the AP now is writing on that stuff. I think Palin needs to be questioned on where she stands on the economy too. The more I read, the more she behaves in exactly the fashion Republicans have been decrying in this election cycle regarding the economy.

    I mean really?
    http://www.tax.state.ak.us/

It’s blatantly obvious where all that money in Alaska comes from. Taxing the shit out of the oil companies.

I don’t really have a problem with that, but isn’t that what Republicans are attacking the Democrats for wanting to do?

But to be fair, Oil tax revenues only account for 80% of Alaskan money. The receive much more federal money than they pay in federal taxes as well. Almost twice as much.

    Curioso,

No, that is not what the Republicans are attacking the Democrats for. They are responding to Obama’s plan to tax the profits of oil companies. And after they do that, they’ll tax the profits of other companies.

Just as the Republicans, and I agree are responding to Obama’s plan to tax the dead, and capital gains. Just doesn’t make sense to us sensible people that when someone dies, the government needs to be part of the will, or if someone takes a chance on something that actually thrives, that the government should get a portion of the money that you made for taking that chance.

Please explain to me why when a person dies, the government is standing there with their hand out telling these grieving people that “Uncle” Sam gets a portion of the fruits of the dead persons labors?

    All,

I posted this on the other page, but tell me how Obama showed any class last night for going on O’Reilly? How classless of a candidate. McCain put out a commercial on Obama’s “big” night last week congratulating him. Obama goes on O’Reilly, and finally admits that the surge is working. Oh, he still wouldn’t have voted for it, but he finally said that there is progress.

And how classless of the people who tried to disrupt McCain. I hope the Obama supporters seen this for what it is. Trying to shout someone down, means to me that the person talking is making sense.

Think about it people, McCain is not too good on a “stage” with a teleprompter, but wait until the debates. Listen to Obama hem and haw, and listen to McCain answer the question directly.

    IB,

Last year Sarah Palin and the Alaska legislature put in place a windfall profits tax that increased revenue from taxing the profits oil companies made from Alaskan oil by six billion dollars in just one fiscal year. That’s more than half of the money that they were already making on taxing oil company profits. That brings the total money generated in taxes to ten billion from oil company profits alone.

Not only is Alaska making a killing off of this oil company tax, Sarah Palin just signed legislation suspending the state gasoline tax for one year and is sending checks for up to $1200 each to Alaskan families to help offset the high price of fuel.

When the Democrats suggest anything close to this (minus the sending out of $1200 checks) it is akin to Marxist socialism! Redistribution of wealth! Communism!

It’s a big ol’ whopper of a double standard and I want answers.

The $1200 rebate checks don’t come from the Alaska Permanent Fund either. They come from taxes on profits.

What I mean is: Alaskan residents get the rebate check plus the Alaska Permanent Fund check that they get from the government already.

    IB,

BTW, I agree totally with your decision to watch the convention on CSPAN. I cannot stand the bullshit commentary from ‘pundits’ on the 24hr news shops.

    Curioso,

Big difference between what Palin did, and what the Democrats want to do.

It was the STATE that increased the taxes, not the FEDERAL Government.

I have argued time and again that this should be left up to the States. You are making my point for me.

And I do not want to be “influenced” (ha ha) by the talking heads on the networks either. CSPAN is the ONLY way to watch.

    IB,

How does that change the argument everyone has been making that it amounts to a Marxist Socialist Communist proposal. By your own definition, Sara Palin is redistributing wealth.

Upon researching further, it appears that Palin not only signed this legislation…SHE PROPOSED IT.

Explain how this isn’t, by your definition, Marxist Communism. Arguing that it was done on a state, and not federal level does nothing to change this.

Now that she is the VP nominee, Mr. Morrissey LOVES him some Sarah Palin. He supports the decision to not let the press question her about such flip flops.
