A WaPo publicist gives us a heads up that news on the disappearance of one of D.C.’s most famous interns is forthcoming:
The murder of Chandra Levy is one of Washington’s most famous unsolved crimes. Many people, including police and prosecutors, initially suspected that a congressman might be involved in her disappearance. For years, it has been a cold case. Now a year-long Washington Post investigation reveals new information showing that critical leads were ignored, allowing a killer to get away with murder. The investigation, based on dozens of interviews with top police officials and other key figures, and thousands of pages of documents, will unfold in a 12-chapter serial plus an epilogue in print and online beginning Sunday, July 13th.
You better believe Gary Condit is closely watching this development.
