donald-young.pngLarry Sinclair, the Minnesota man who claims to have used drugs and had sex with Sen. Barack Obama in 1999 - and who has passed a computerized PolyScore test regarding his drug allegations - has come forward with a shocking revelation:

I was not living in Minnesota when I first contacted the Obama campaign about Obama’s meetings with me in 1999 for the purpose of taking cocaine and sex.

Between September 2007 and November 2007, I left a total of four (4) different cell phone numbers with the office of the Obama campaign. This was necessary because I had to adjust the telephone number to correspond with each new location where I lived in that period. I have explained in my blog how I slowly made my way north to Minnesota before settling there.

I have never said that I met Donald Young in any face to face meeting. But I did have contact with him several times. Each time Mr. Young instigated the contact. Nobody else, other than the Obama campaign, had a record of my constantly adjusted numbers. And I did not go public with my allegations until after Mr. Young was murdered.

So just how did Mr. Young know who I was? How did he know my cell phone number? (Please note that I have never said the exact number of times Mr. Young and I had contact. Nor have I stated the content of our exchanges. That and other information about the matter is reserved for the appropriate channels. I am providing this factual information to counteract the deliberate misinformation that a small army of Internet warriors are spreading on the net in an attempt to distract attention from Obama’s past).

Indeed, Donald Young was a choirmaster at Obama’s controversial church during a portion of the infamous Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s tenure. Young was a gay black man, and he was slain in cold blood just before Christmas 2007. His murder is yet unsolved.

That Sinclair may have communicated with Young before his murder raises some interesting questions, top among them: What was Young trying to tell Sinclair? Stay tuned…

You aren’t serious are you? I mean you are actually listening to this reject Sinclair? The guys is a L-I-A-R and clearly mentally disabled to some extent. You enabling his crack pot, delusional, fantasy world does nothing but encourage his absolute babble.

That said, I SWEAR I saw McCain blowing performing fellatio on a horse… NO I REALLY DID, I have alibis….. Will you cover the story? I mean I did see it and all, or do I have to make a bush league you tube video first saying I saw it? Then will cover every f*cked up thing I claim? Like after the horse BJ watching McCain and Lindsey Graham wrestle in diapers…

Let me know, I would love to for you to cover my story which is every bit as credible as the sad little Larry Sinclair’s. He is pathetic and you are looking pretty silly yourself by covering him with the sense of “seriousness” which everyone else obviously realizes isn’t there. Let me know if you ‘ll pick my story up.

    OH YA I FORGOT

Meanwhile, the Huffington Post notes: ‘a key owner of the Enquirer is a prominent New York investment banker and one of Hillary Clinton’s key backers, Roger Altman. Altman was an official in the first Clinton administration, and his name is often mentioned as a possible Clinton Treasury Secretary’.

That’s a little too close for comfort for the Enquirer to be running a story containing Larry’s allegations don’t you think?

What’s that I hear at the Clinton campaign? Shrill panicking, gnashing of teeth and screaming aloud ‘no place is too low to go - destroy, rip, shred, lie - it’s ours and we wants it, arggghhh, rahhhhhh’.

I take it your a Clinton supporter right? Well I guess you want to watch, enable and encourage this and in doing so baste your fantasies of this taking Obama out and installing your candidate instead. There isn’t much left that is positive to focus on for Hillary after all is there?

The stench of desperation is in the air. It will all backfire on the Clinton campaign - I wish they would get that through their head - sop much has backfired already and they don’t seem to learn.

Me - I’m gonna spend my time giving Obama big ups on the boards. When people try and cast an understanding of Obama just as an African American candidate or merge Wright or Obama into one person, I’m going to provide a different script - like Obama being a descendant of James Madison, founding father and major author of the constitution - and that many years later Madison’s lineage has produced a man who wants to bring America back to the constitution it is so proud of.

And with people like Al Sharpton and Obama they see such programs like Affirmative Action as stepping stones to more grandiose demands.

Who can we blame this on. Not the blacks but the Democratic party who pandered to the blacks with special programs to get their vote. Never realizing these programs would criple America and backfire on white Democrats. Hillary is finding that out now. WRIGHT now how to play the game.

    Hillary Clinton; fibber in chief
Her blatant deceit over Bosnia, among other lies, is about the last nail in her coffin
    Gerard Baker

A good memory is needed once we have lied,” observed Pierre Corneille, the 17th-century French tragedian. He was right. The complexities involved in keeping an untruth plausible and consistent are so tortuous that to be really good at lying demands exceptional recall of what was said when and where.

But Corneille was writing before the age of YouTube. Nowadays, no amount of familiarity with memory’s labyrinth will save you when there is downloadable disproof at the click of a mouse button. So Hillary Clinton discovered this week, when she was caught out in a prize fib about a trip she made to Bosnia when she was First Lady 12 years ago.

Dilating on her extensive experience of foreign affairs, the New York senator told a campaign event last week that she vividly remembered how, with the Balkans still a cauldron of war, she had flown into an airfield under sniper fire. She had had to dash, head-down from the aircraft, she told the spellbound audience, to the safety of waiting cars, and the planned traditional arrival ceremony had been hastily cancelled in the mêlée.

It sounded thrilling - like something out of a Tom Clancy novel. The problem was, it probably did come out of a Tom Clancy novel. It was pure fiction.

CBS unearthed some news video of the arrival ceremony and it was promptly disseminated on YouTube. There was Mrs Clinton, serene and smiling, strolling with her entourage from the plane, head held high, and in no evident danger from snipers, terrorists, or even the odd slightly miffed Serb. Seconds later she was being greeted in what looked very much like a traditional arrival ceremony on the tarmac where a small girl embraced her and the two chatted warmly for a while. I’ve been in more physical danger coming out of the car park at Heathrow.

Confronted with the incontrovertible evidence Mrs Clinton acknowledged this week that she “misspoke”. Misspeak is an Orwellian term deployed by politicians to describe what has happened when they have been caught in a barefaced lie.

The Clintons have a well-formed habit of misspeaking. Bill Clinton, of course, was always doing it. But his wife has also over the years mastered the art of misspeaking in what Mark Twain once described as an “experienced, industrious, ambitious and often quite picturesque” way.

She has misspoken on any number of occasions when the straight truth might have been very damaging: over her involvement in the various scandals of the early Clinton years. But alongside these instrumental whoppers, there have been some befuddlingly pointless little tiddlers too.

For no obvious reason she once claimed her parents named her after Sir Edmund Hillary, even though she was born more than five years before the mountaineer’s ascent of Everest, when he was known by almost no one outside New Zealand.

When she ran for New York senator she claimed to have been a lifelong fan of the New York Yankees even though no one could recall her ever having expressed the slightest interest in or knowledge of the baseball team.

In fact the facility with which the Clintons misspeak is so pronounced that it is quite possible they have genuinely forgotten how to tell the plain truth. There was no real need for Mrs Clinton to make the claim about landing in sniper fire. But the compulsion to embroider, to dissemble and to dissimulate is now so entrenched in the synapses of the Clinton brain that it came to her as naturally as the truth would to a slow-witted innocent.

Someone once noted that the thing about the Clintons is that they will choose a big lie when a small lie will do, and choose a small lie when the truth will do. Most of the time they get away with it. But occasionally, an inconvenient truth, like a blue dress with DNA on it, or some forgotten news footage, shows up and damns them.

The Bosnia misspeak, unnecessary as it was, revealed much, however. It helped to expose a much bigger untruth Mrs Clinton has been peddling throughout the Democratic primary campaign - that her time in the White House means she has the necessary foreign policy experience to be president.

First Ladies don’t acquire real foreign policy experience. We know that Mrs Clinton did not, as she claimed, play a large role in the Northern Ireland peace process, that she was not, as she claimed, a key voice in counsels on the Balkans, and that she did not even have security clearance in the White House for the most sensitive of conversations about national security.

So the problem with the ripping yarn about the Bosnia snipers is that it offers hard evidentiary disproof of improbable claims about her role during the White House years.

With this latest deceit stripped away, there is not much left to Mrs Clinton’s disintegrating campaign for the Democratic nomination. It capped a bad week for her, a week that might have signalled the end of her hopes.

With a deft speech that was somewhat lacking in complete honesty itself, Barack Obama last week seemed to have acquitted himself quite well, for now, of the charge of being an associate of a ranting, anti-American black preacher. More important, the collapse last week of efforts to schedule a new vote in Florida and Michigan, two states whose earlier primary votes have been disqualified, was deadly to Mrs Clinton. It is now virtually impossible for her to finish ahead of Mr Obama in the delegate count when the primary season ends in early June.

That really ought to be that. After that final primary in Puerto Rico on June 1, Mr Obama will have won more states, more delegates and more popular votes than Mrs Clinton. How in those circumstances can Mrs Clinton claim a moral case for staying in the race?

Her answer is to persuade the party’s super-delegates - top party leaders and elected officials who will have the casting votes - that she is more electable than Mr Obama, and that they would be doing the party a favour if they chose her over the wishes of the tens of millions of people who have voted in the primaries.

They are unlikely to be taken in. They are more likely to view it as another example of Senator Clinton’s misspeaking.

No wonder Larry likes Clinton - bird of a feather and all.

    Getting Mrs. Clinton
    March 28, 2008

I think we’ve reached a signal point in the campaign. This is the point where, with Hillary Clinton, either you get it or you don’t. There’s no dodging now. You either understand the problem with her candidacy, or you don’t. You either understand who she is, or not. And if you don’t, after 16 years of watching Clintonian dramas, you probably never will.

That’s what the Bosnia story was about. Her fictions about dodging bullets on the tarmac — and we have to hope they were lies, because if they weren’t, if she thought what she was saying was true, we are in worse trouble than we thought — either confirmed what you already knew (she lies as a matter of strategy, or, as William Safire said in 1996, by nature) or revealed in an unforgettable way (videotape! Smiling girl in pigtails offering flowers!) what you feared (that she lies more than is humanly usual, even politically usual).
    [Getting Mrs. Clinton]
    AP

But either you get it now or you never will. That’s the importance of the Bosnia tape.

Many in the press get it, to their dismay, and it makes them uncomfortable, for it sours life to have a person whose character you feel you cannot admire play such a large daily role in your work. But I think it’s fair to say of the establishment media at this point that it is well populated by people who feel such a lack of faith in Mrs. Clinton’s words and ways that it amounts to an aversion. They are offended by how she and her staff operate. They try hard to be fair. They constantly have to police themselves.

Not that her staff isn’t policing them too. Mrs. Clinton’s people are heavy-handed in that area, letting producers and correspondents know they’re watching, weighing, may have to take this higher. There’s too much of this in politics, but Hillary’s campaign takes it to a new level.

It’s not only the press. It’s what I get as I walk around New York, which used to be thick with her people. I went to a Hillary fund-raiser at Hunter College about a month ago, paying for a seat in the balcony and being ushered up to fill the more expensive section on the floor, so frantic were they to fill seats.

I sat next to a woman, a New York Democrat who’d been for Hillary from the beginning and still was. She was here. But, she said, “It doesn’t seem to be working.” She shrugged, not like a brokenhearted person but a practical person who’d missed all the signs of something coming. She wasn’t mad at the voters. But she was no longer so taken by the woman who soon took the stage and enacted joy.

The other day a bookseller told me he’d been reading the opinion pages of the papers and noting the anti-Hillary feeling. Two weeks ago he realized he wasn’t for her anymore. It wasn’t one incident, just an accumulation of things. His experience tracks this week’s Wall Street Journal/NBC poll showing Mrs. Clinton’s disapproval numbers have risen to the highest level ever in the campaign, her highest in fact in seven years.

    * * *

You’d think she’d pivot back to showing a likable side, chatting with women, weeping, wearing the bright yellows and reds that are thought to appeal to her core following, older women. Well, she’s doing that. Yet at the same time, her campaign reveals new levels of thuggishness, though that’s the wrong word, for thugs are often effective. This is mere heavy-handedness.

On Wednesday a group of Mrs. Clinton’s top donors sent a letter to the speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, warning her in language that they no doubt thought subtle but that reflected a kind of incompetent menace, that her statements on the presidential campaign may result in less money for Democratic candidates for the House. Ms. Pelosi had said that in her view the superdelegates should support the presidential candidate who wins the most pledged delegates in state contests. The letter urged her to “clarify” her position, which is “clearly untenable” and “runs counter” to the superdelegates’ right to make “an informed, individual decision” about “who would be the party’s strongest nominee.” The signers, noting their past and huge financial support, suggested that Ms. Pelosi “reflect” on her comments and amend them to reflect “a more open view.”

Barack Obama’s campaign called it inappropriate and said Mrs. Clinton should “reject the insinuation.” But why would she? All she has now is bluster. Her supporters put their threat in a letter, not in a private meeting. By threatening Ms. Pelosi publicly, they robbed her of room to maneuver. She has to defy them or back down. She has always struck me as rather grittier than her chic suits, high heels and unhidden enthusiasm may suggest. We’ll see.

What, really, is Mrs. Clinton doing? She is having the worst case of cognitive dissonance in the history of modern politics. She cannot come up with a credible, realistic path to the nomination. She can’t trace the line from “this moment’s difficulties” to “my triumphant end.” But she cannot admit to herself that she can lose. Because Clintons don’t lose. She can’t figure out how to win, and she can’t accept the idea of not winning. She cannot accept that this nobody from nowhere could have beaten her, quietly and silently, every day. (She cannot accept that she still doesn’t know how he did it!)

She is concussed. But she is a scrapper, a fighter, and she’s doing what she knows how to do: scrap and fight. Only harder. So that she ups the ante every day. She helped Ireland achieve peace. She tried to stop Nafta. She’s been a leader for 35 years. She landed in Bosnia under siege and bravely dodged bullets. It was as if she’d watched the movie “Wag the Dog,” with its fake footage of a terrified refugee woman running frantically from mortar fire, and found it not a cautionary tale about manipulation and politics, but an inspiration.

    * * *

What struck me as the best commentary on the Bosnia story came from a poster called GI Joe who wrote in to a news blog: “Actually Mrs. Clinton was too modest. I was there and saw it all. When Mrs. Clinton got off the plane the tarmac came under mortar and machine gun fire. I was blown off my tank and exposed to enemy fire. Mrs. Clinton without regard to her own safety dragged me to safety, jumped on the tank and opened fire, killing 50 of the enemy.” Soon a suicide bomber appeared, but Mrs. Clinton stopped the guards from opening fire. “She talked to the man in his own language and got him [to] surrender. She found that he had suffered terribly as a result of policies of George Bush. She defused the bomb vest herself.” Then she turned to his wounds. “She stopped my bleeding and saved my life. Chelsea donated the blood.”

Made me laugh. It was like the voice of the people answering back. This guy knows that what Mrs. Clinton said is sort of crazy. He seems to know her reputation for untruths. He seemed to be saying, “I get it.”

I am wary of the claims of Larry Sinclair ,and they seem so post dated…..however, it is indisputable that Obama had a close relationship with the choir leader, and that man was gay. Gay is not acceptable in Obama’s church, and in fact Rev. Wright believed that he could stop you from a life of homosexuality..Obama has been very tepid about gays…google it.
It does seem like an odd trick of fate that this man would be murdered just before Obama’s big push to be president…hum…Rev. Wright has chosen now to retire and the choir master get murdered now as well…it does make me pause at least alittle…lighting strkes twice?
Obama is willing to lie about his parents(Mom and Dad marched @ Selma Al LIE), he lied about his Grandmother (When defining her as a racist LIE), he lied about being in church when the minister was “Venting”…. andhis senate campaign had the sealed divorce records of both of his Republican rivals unsealed and then released them to the press…strong arm tactics??? YES.

I admit that Larry is a terrible witness.

Way to be 100% totally wrong and simply make up facts.

TUCC is one of the leading Churches in support of homosexuals, unlike thousands of churches throughout this nation. It is one of the most liberal in terms of support for gays in the entire country. Please do some research - at least make sure your smears aren’t factually incorrect.

    Typical:

In regard to post-dated material - yes, Donald Young was murdered just before Chrismas. Remember there is a murder investigation going on. Larry has started talking about his communication with Donald Young on his own blog. He may not have been in a position to release this information on advice from his attorney until just lately. We don’t know what questions he has had to answer to officials who are invesigating Mr. Young’s homicide.

I’ve been interested in Larry’s story since the middle of February long before the Whitehouse.com fiasco. I will admit this turn in that Larry’s admitting he actually communicated with Donald Young has me more convinced Larry is not all hot air. I am sure by all the experience he has encountered with doubters, he has evidence to prove that Donald Young contacted him more than just 1 time.

Being “fooled” once already, so I really don’t know what to think about all this. But I would somehow not put too much faith in Sinclair’s words. If Obama was really this corrupt, how could he have risen to where he is now?

    You can’t be this nieve….

A good memory is needed once we have lied,” observed Pierre Corneille, the 17th-century French tragedian. He was right. The complexities involved in keeping an untruth plausible and consistent are so tortuous that to be really good at lying demands exceptional recall of what was said when and where.
