Big Head DC interviewed Tucker Carlson on the eve of his last MSNBC show, a retrospective which airs tonight at 6 p.m. ET. Declining to talk much smack about his soon-to-be former employer (he’ll show up for a while as a commenter on various network shows), the conservative talker seemed, in the spirit of Eliot Spitzer, perhaps, to be quite ebullient about his future:
Big Head DC: How do you feel about the end of the show?
Tucker Carlson: Weirdly, I feel great and have all week. Not sure why.
BHDC: Any hard feelings toward MSNBC?
TC: Can’t complain about MSNBC. I wish they weren’t killing the show - I like it and think it’s good - but other than that, they’ve been nice to me.
BHDC: Do you see yourself headlining another political show soon?
TC: I’m confident I’ll wind up doing something interesting.
BHDC: But nothing set in stone yet?
TC: I’m in good shape.
BHDC: Thanks, Tucker, and best of luck.
I know there are many out there who have mixed feelings about Tucker. I feel like he must be relieved not to carry water for Obermann anymore. It must make you puke to deal with the MSNBC crowd.
I think Tucker should write a book about the culture @ MSNBC. He could call it something awful like “Obama and the Men That Love Him”
Tucker was appointment viewing for me.
He is irrepressible.

Ah, yes!!! Stewart has been rewarded by Hollywood for his views, as they mirror the left leaning CA. Tucker has taken more than a few punches for the 1st amendment. Free speech disqualifies you from being a Democrat, and working with success on MSNBC.
I now watch MSNBC just for the pure spectacle of it, like rubber-necking @ an accident.

I would consider myself a center/left Dem, but I always respected Tucker. He is smarter than any of the blowhards on FNC. He was funny too, and never took himself too serious. In a way, I would like him to be on a panel show again. I am a sucker for civil discourse. Hope Tuck gets back on TV though, not just a commentator.

It it hilarious that you want to have a peace action table in a safe spot like DC. How about having it in Israel, or maybe the Gaza….that would be”creative”, and certainly more based in reality! Tucker was cancelled after his show defending white men against unfair attacks. He was also one of the only members of Big Media to support Ron Paul openly.
