Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt, the legendary journalist who in 2007 helped expose Sen. David Vitter’s rendezvous with multiple escorts, has some harsh words for Gov. Eliot Spitzer.
“It is matters like these that brings hypocrisy to the forefront of American politics,” Flynt said in a statement issued on Monday afternoon. ”Although I didn’t have anything to do with his outing, I wish him well.”
It is notable that Spitzer is a Democrat, since some critics of Flynt’s focus on Vitter’s misdeeds had said Flynt had pursued a Republican sex witch hunt. Flynt has always maintained that he wishes to expose political hypocrisy in all forms.
It was revealed earlier on Monday that Spitzer last month participated in a prostitution ring called the Emperors Club, but had cracked down on prostitution rings when he was attorney general of New York.

Mmmmmm, wonder why Mr. Flynt wouldn’t pick up the Sinclair story. Even he wouldn’t wallow that deep in the gutter.
Knowing the way Flynt operates, I’d say it’s more curious that he HASN’T debunked Sinclair’s story yet. Usually, if Flynt sees someone being unfairly persecuted, he will immediately quash those rumors with his investigative team. In Obama’s case of using drugs with Sinclair, Flynt hasn’t done that. Curious, indeed.

Help Larry Sinclair prove his charges against Barack Obama, Mr. Axelrod, and Mr. Parisi in court. His attorney has setup a paypal acct for those who have expressed an interest in donating to Larry’s legal fund. Boy, you guys can spin anything. Flynt’s m.o. is not to debunk. He just wants to prove that all politicians are hypocrites no matter what party. When has he ever spent time, money and effort to help someone being accused of anything?
Be sure and send your money to help Larry though. A worthy cause, indeed.

The attorney here has one thing that Larry desperately needs; access to the MSM. This attorney has the ability, via his own eccentricity, to provide that breakthrough for Larry. Perfect choice, Larry.
I know Larry Flynt is a hardcore democrat. But bet if we started a email campaign, he would take on the Larry Sinclair case too.
Larry Flynt is a hero–and we’re not joking. He’s one of the least hypocritical people out there, he’s a hero in publishing (really), he’s a hero in the sexual liberation movement, and he’s one of the most honest people out there. He’s also an incredibly successful businessman–worth tens of millions of dollars. Larry Flynt should run for political office. Again, we’re not joking. And for those people who make fun of him–he is an incredibly intelligent man.
I agree with Larry flynt that Spitzer is a hypocrite and should be taken away because of it, I look at www.larryflynt.com to see who he is exposing. However sex work should not be a crime that is something that Larry could agree with: Spitzer is not the first state lawyer commit “crimes” in his private life and then prosecute people for it the next day, I know some DA’s who actively smoke pot and go to whores only to bust people for it.
