Of course Oprah is upset. She’s been promoting Obama even before he announced his plan to run. She went out on a limb, putting her reputation on the line here. People have already quit watching her show. If people as disgusted with this story, even more may leave. I don’t predict it will bring her show down in the end. She will recover. It’s Oprah after all! But she has to be hating the this truth revealing itself right now!

It is embarrassing to the Obama campaign to have these allegations out there. Rag Mag or not, it still hurts the campaign! There are plenty of people that havn’t heard about this story yet. Now they will. If they care about the truth concerning their candidates, then they will demand answers! There are people who actually want all candidates accountable for their actions. These stories go far deeper than just the Sinclair allegations. It isn’t one single story that makes Obama look questionable! It brings up many issues.

Stealing speeches, Nafta-Gate lie or Rezko all would of ended someones else race for president along time ago and it would be on the front page for months. Obama is given a pass. And Clintons brings it up and right away they are labeled racist by the press.

Seriously, I get your point about the news media picking and choosing what they want to cover. Don’t worry, the media WILL pick this story up if Obama becomes the nominee. Fox won’t be able to contain themselves from this one when he goes toe to toe with McCain!

I read that the Enquirer didn’t mention Sinclair.

Although, they’ve been saying bush and laura are effectively divorced, bush is drinking and drugging, hillary is a lesbian and hundreds of other stories that went precisely nowhere. Does it mean that a politician is done just because they’re slimed by the slimiest of the checkout mags? Certianly not. In fact, although I haven’t read it yet, the Enquirer article says nothing about our favorite coked-up cocksucker.

Oh, and to all of you celebratory larrytards that kept insisting this wasn’t about politics - you weren’t fooling anyone.

The Enquirer went through a brief period where it tried to do real reporting, on OJ, Lewinsky, etc. They broke the story that Jesse Jackson had an illegitimate child, then they got away from trying to do reporting. The paper was sold in 1999, and the editor who had pushed toward much of the real reporting was fired and replaced.

The only “major” stories they’ve broken since was the story that OJ Simpson had written a book, and Dog the Bounty Hunter’s racist rant. Mostly, they’ve been settling libel cases (Gary Condit, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, etc.)

The Cameron Diaz ordeal led to the Enquirer blocking web access to their site from Ireland and the U.K.

i’m sure you didn’t watch the debates since you were too busy coming up with lame phrases to copy and paste and training yourself to use commas instead of periods, but obama showed a gift for diffusing situations and turning them to his advantage. As far as ego goes, the debates saw him concede points to his opponents which is unheard of. Most politicians would have continued to fight whether the battle was warranted or not simply because of their huge (say it with me) egos.

See, this all copy/paste bullshit. You can’t back up any of the arguments. In fact most of what you say is contradictory. An arrogant puppet? A big ego that’s afraid to make a decision?

Again, you don’t back up anything you say. You’re just parroting the talking points that you hear on talk radio. Folks, I hate to break it to you, but the only people that are really prepared to be president have already been president. If you’re saying that seniority is the key attribute (which is a stupid arguement) then you should have worked like hell to get Biden nominated.

Amazingly enough, you have to meet a burden of proof in federal court up front to even have your case heard by a judge.

    Here’s how it works.

Plaintiff: You’re paying bloggers to make fun of me and phone me with death threats!

Cute puppy - I heard the same thing, actually. Obama’s people kidnapped families and made the adults caucus for Obama or they’d kill they’re children. This is the ONLY reason he’s winning. With his links to al quaeda, people know that if they don’t vote for him their town will be destroyed.

Do you fucktards ever stop to listen to yourselves? Really? Have you ever had a moment’s self reflection?

I doubt it. Here are your intellectual equals. You’re welcome.

Your stupid PAUL Democrats are the ones who want to allow people to vote twice and bus voters to the boths who can’t read and tell them how to vote. Obama followers are weird and crazy.

I meant to show how stupid the Wyoming argument is with that quote. Wyoming is Dick Cheney’s home — the state is a GOP stronghold. No way Obama wins it in a real election. Yes, election, not caucus, where his cult members bully people to leave (or won’t even let them in). Obama should have waited to run. His arrogance has hurt his brand.

Too bad I didn’t support Obama in the my state’s primary. Guess I should just shoot myself since I don’t support Hillary. Chances are good I’ll write someone in.

    Nice stereotyping, though. If you’re anti-Hillary, you’re pro-Obama.

If you haven’t bred already, please don’t.
