Can’t think of any attorney worth their weight who would take this craptacular mess on. As an attorney, based off of what I’ve read of Larry’s postings, what I’ve seen of his “evidence”, including his failed polygraph, I wouldn’t touch this. It’s not a case. Thankfully for Larry, we live in America and so he’s free to continue to make an ass out of himself. Attorney or no, this “case” isn’t going anywhere. There just isn’t anything to it.

Documenting false internet posts. To have a slander case, you have to prove that: what was said was knowingly false, said with malicious intent, and that some sort of damage was caused. On top of that, there’s the defense that Larry, who says he was a drug dealer, a four time ex con, an illegal alien smuggler, etc. The man is what is known as “slander proof,” which means his position in society is so low, that he further damage to his reputation is impossible.

If Larry isn’t fading into the sunset, he’s certainly doing a very good impression of it. If you look on Google News, there hasn’t been a new story about him in over a week, and Google News includes sources that can barely be considered to be sources of real news. (It says something that this site can’t even reach that threshold!)
As people have been saying for days, Larry has no case to be answered in court. If he really has had death threats, then that’s too bad, but the best he can hope for there is if he can get the police to warn the idiots who did them to cease and desist.
But I suspect what he’s really hoping for is to link one of them directly to the Obama campaign, so that he can get someone in the press to listen to his story. Since he has utterly failed in that regard so far, this is probably his best and last chance. I guess it is quite possible that some overzealous campaign worker did foolishly send him an abusive message, but there certainly won’t be evidence of a concerted and coordinated campaign against him, and it won’t even matter anyway, since he will milk even the most tenuous of connections for all it is worth.
Oh, and Larry, just to help you out, I wouldn’t bother checking out my IP addresses. I doubt an Austin-based Road Runner cable internet connection is of any interest to anyone.
