A revote will work, she still won’t be able to catch him in total delegates. Who cares!

How are you calculating those numbers, Truthseeker? My calculations put her ahead with wins in Michigan, Florida and Pennsylvania. Each of these contests is likely to be a landslide. Obama can’t form a viable number of delegates with only small, Republican-leaning caucus states, like Idaho!

Your math is WRONG! She can’t win! It’s kind of a poetic irony, if she wasn’t destroying the party in her quest for glory. But here is a link that should enlighten most of you willing to read it! Enjoy!

Yeah kind of like saying you agree that the votes of these two states shouldn’t count, but change your mind once you found out you “won” and you are losing in the race. Yeah that is true hypocrisy. In Florida, you have half of the electorate disenfranchised because they actually did pay attention to what they were told i.e. the votes wouldn’t count. Thereby rewarding the numb nutts for not following rules and punishing the people that actually did listen. That is REAL FAIR, huh? Oh yeah, Michigan with Clinton the only name on the ballot there. Can’t get much fairer than that!

Don’t silence more than 5.1 million Americans. That’s the message coming from Florida and Michigan.

The governors of these two states, Charlie Crist and Jennifer Granholm, have joined together calling on the Democratic and Republican National Committees to seat their delegates. They say it’s “intolerable” that the political parties have denied their citizens their votes, especially since Americans have turned out in record numbers to exercise this right.

Mark you really want Hillary to win don’t you! Sorry, buddy but Michigan only had Hillary’s name on the ballot. That wouldn’t be fair would it? Florida told voters there votes weren’t going to be allowed, so how do you tell the voters that stayed home because they really did pay attention to the authorities that their voice shouldn’t be heard? So a re-do will certainly be a fair resolution.

In a revote, Obama would take Michigan - high African American population. In Florida, he would gain a greater proportion, as Edwards is no longer in the race and people are more familiar with Obama now. Over a million early votes were made in Florida back in December, before the primaries got under way. For PA, Obama will get at LEAST 40% of the vote. Added to this, Obama is favoured in Wyoming, Mississipi, North Carolina, Indiana and Oregon - with some 284 delegates associated with those states.

So revote or inclusion under current unfair circumstances - Clinton can still not close the earned delegate lead. She needed to win by margins of +65 in Ohio, Texas and Penn to even start to come close. She failed to produce large enough wins in Ohio and Texas. She’s finished. Anything she does from now on, by continuing to stay in the race, and bash against Obama - is just weakening the democratic party. Still, seems like some of you are very keen to help her in her crusade to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Have fun.

Hillary could easily be mistaken for a Republican because her actions are certainly helping them. You see - Democrat and Republican are just labels. Both Clinton and McCain and other Govt. insiders are quite happy with the way things are currently done - cos they are making millions out of it. That’s why Clinton won’t release her tax return. If you think she actually gives a shit about ordinary American people - think again - she’s part of the elite, the people are the fodder that the elite feeds off.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/05/texas.caucus.count/index.html (see lonk for full story)

Clinton’s campaign, meanwhile, says it may challenge the state’s caucus results, citing what they call “hundreds of complaints” of mischief caused by the Obama campaign at caucus, The Associated Press reported.

Clinton officials cite evidence that Obama supporters illegally obtained caucus packets in several precincts throughout the state.

Under caucus rules, whomever has the packet is placed in charge of the caucus. They also say Obama supporters locked Clinton voters out of several caucuses, the AP reported.

Hillary will still have the high negatives she started with and then some. She will reap what she has sewn - she assumes she can act like she does and then have people support her. Before she started she had high numbers of Republicans and Independents who detested her for the way she conducts herself - she can add a high number of democrats to that number now.

Added to that, she can start working on American foreign policy with the knowledge that most of the world also see her for what she is - instead of looking forward to meeting with her they will be like ’shit, I’ve got to spend time with this bitch - whose behavior reinforces every negative stereotype I had towards America - maybe I can call in sick’.

That Hillary is still in the race is by dirty politics and underhanded ways. All of her bra burning loyal supporters will be sooooo excited if she gets the nod and sooooo confident that the African American voters will come back to ‘masser’ and that the youth will finally realize just what an inspirational character she is - that they will hit the phones and door to door with gusto - at least initially. She’ll spend millions trying to appeal to these people with television adds.

    Here’s the reality:

    Hillary ad on TV:
    change the channel
Hillary supporter on the phone: click
Hillary supporter at the door: sorry, not interested - door closes

The voters in both states have already voted and a winner has been elected: Hillary. Hill Yeah! Howard Dean explained that the existing rules of the DNC allow for the states to appeal the current DNC’s position at the convention in Denver this summer. There, the decision can be made by the attending delegates as to whether the Fl and MI delegates will be seated. There is no need for any “do-over” (which is too expensive for the states/party), caucus (which Obama’s camp will corrupt)or anything else. We only need to let the process play out and I am sure Obama will be out. Hillary has already said, quite some time ago, that she would ask her delegates to vote for seating the FL and MI delegates. Obama TOOK his name off of the ballot in MI. He was not required to do that. He then campaigned against Hillary (who left her name on the ballot, feeling MI was worthy to be in the race, even then) by asking voters to vote “uncommitted,” which they did, in very large numbers. In Florida he campaigned openly, allowing ads to be run on Florida cable networks, which he said he could not control; RIGHT!!! Hillary did no such campaigning. She had over 800,000 votes!!!! Obama had maybe 300,000, even with his ads being shown. Now that he sees that Hillary has won both states he wants a “do-over.” There is nothing to do over. Let the process play out. Take FL and MI to the convention floor let the people decide. They will be seated because Americans, when left to their own consciouses, are fair. The delegates will understand the need to have FL and MI on board in November and they will be seated. The DNC people will not be involved in this vote; the Howard Dean types. It will be out of their hands. Again, let’s just let the process play out; follow the rules; Hillary will prevail. Obama will not.

    **************************************************************
    Truth,

You are lying. Plain and simple! Hillary got the votes in FL based on name recognition! And Obama’s name wasn’t even on the ticket in MI and she still only got 50% of the vote! What does that tell you? She really isn’t as popular in these states as the spindoctors (like yourself) and the media would like to portray. What you fail to realize that even with the delegates seated “as-is” she still can’t mathematically win! That is the problem with you hillbots, you don’t like math. Huckabee had the same problem and now he is back in Arkansas! She can win all the remaining contests and still can’t regain the pledge delegate lead! At this point I am tired of her and her supporters pretending that she really has a chance to win the nomination. I hate to say it but way more people dislike her than Obama, and you should know it! Add in the sham victories from FL and MI and Obama still has a MAJORITY OF THE POPULAR VOTE, more pledged delegates, and a better chance to win! I truly hope that Hillary and her supporters realize that the MAJORITY (see that word again) of people will not tolerate her being President. If she takes the nomination by SuperDelegate coercion, she is going to lose badly! The only chance for her to “win” is by being on the bottom of the ticket with BO. She knows she needs him that is why she alluded to it on yesterday’s interview. But why would the person winning the race be VP, that is reserved for the presumptive and imminent loser, which will be Hillary. Embrace the fact that she will NEVER be President, then you can move on with your lives and stop lying to yourselves.

One thing that destroys your whole argument. He is WINNING! Hillary even with FL and MI will not gain enough delegates to surpass him! Even as is, counting FL and MI, he still has the popular vote and delegate lead! Sorry to break it to you, but the polls in MI aren’t looking to good for Hillary right now either. Especially when you consider that she only managed 50% of the vote and she was the only one on the ticket! Food for thought! As stated above, Hillary Rodham Clinton will NEVER be POTUS! Too many republicans, independents, and democrats won’t allow that to happen. Now you and the middle aged women that vote for her can go ahead and eat sour grapes, but if she is the nominee, I would say most of the U.S. map will be red this Nov, and I will be proud to contribute, along with many other Obama democrats. Rally around the best candidate and let this divisive, mudslinging contest she is running, die!
