A writer posting on the official Sen. Barack Obama campaign for president community Web site has responded to Larry Sinclair’s allegations of drug use and a sexual encounter with Obama in 1999.

The writer, named Matte Black, says that he has started a Wikipedia “debunking” page regarding Sinclair’s allegation, in part, Black says, because “the gossip site, bigHeadDC is pumping it up routinely.”

Black, an Arlington, Va.-based Obama supporter, refers to Sinclair as a “clown,” and he insists that the Web site WhiteHouse.com is Sinclair’s sponsor.

Sources closely familiar with Sinclair’s situation take this action as a sign that the Obama campaign is becoming more worried about Sinclair’s allegations coming to light in the mainstream media.

You know, why is it that this man can come out and say whatever he wants as a self admitted convicted felon and you are ready to fall all over yourself making it appear as though what he says is the truth? Look what this guy has spent his life doing…how can we believe anything this man says? If he has convinced himself of this craziness then he’ll likely pass the test and that won’t mean a thing with a past like this. Also, how do we know that his “tumor” isn’t causing him to have paranoid or delusional thoughts? After all, he says he is dying!

“Although Sinclair has provided no evidence to back up his outrageous Obama stories, the 46 year old man tells GLOBE that he’s spent time in prison in Florida, Arizona and Colorado on credit card fraud and other charges. He also admits to trafficking cocaine and marijuana and “moving” people from Mexico to the United States. He says he’s been disabled since a work related accident in 2001 and has now been diagnosed with a brain tumor and given a little more than a year to live.”

    The GLOBE dated 3-3-2008.

I just looked at the Wikipedia site and the war between Lexi and Wacko in their “Talk” sections. It looks like Wacko was trying to publish Mr. Sinclair’s address and claimed that his residence was one for the “elderly and mentally ill”. When the source by Wacko was checked, it turned out that the residence is for the “disabled” and “elderly” and Lexi called Wacko out and called for his suspension from Wikipedia. She also pointed out that Wacko’s allegations of mental illness were per se defamatory.

It would appear, then, that an Obama Campaign affiliate was actually making per se defamatory allegations of mental illness. Not very smart.

    DD,

As I said elsewhere, the underbelly of society, where blow jobs and crack cocaine meet, generally isn’t made up of Eagle Scouts. You belabor the obvious and Sinclair already mentioned his bad checks when he was 20, in the Rense interview. It’s old news.

It appears that Obama supporter Matt is posting defamatory allegations of mental illness on that Wikipedia site. Like Rex says, the guy or someone helping him posted false sources and got called out on it.

The Obama campaign should be asked for comment about the issue and whether they support Matt or those assisting him in the “mental illness” charge.

First of all, if you look it says “the community blog”, that means it is not actually affiliated with the site. It is one of some three hundred thousand profile/blogs that anyone can start on the website. The person who started the article is not affiliated with the Obama campaign. Also, Lexi(who is Sinclair) did not want the article deleted. He was trying to turn it into a sinclair mouthpiece and Waco had it deleted. If you actually look at the talk pages of the different people Lexi got owned!

Thank you Mark Reynolds, for saying that first.

I had watched the entire Wikipedia exchange while working on my own post about political scandals.

Matt and WacoJacko were trying to do a responsible job keeping up with the postings that these Sinclairians (probably all coming from this site) were trying to add, and kept constantly repositioning other text to suit their point-of-view (clearly trying to give credance to this stupid, ugly, gossip).

And Mat never posted the mental illness stuff, anyway. He only referred to “mental capacity” in some another section about why people file lawsuits (that they deleted fast), and then made some minor typo edits after Wacko, or someone else had already added a reference to Sinclair’s housing situation. Whoever it was, they were simply citing what another blog had posted. There are a few references to that, including this one:
    http://dearmurray.com/why-are-ron-paul-supporters-working-so-hard-to-defame-obama/

Finally, if you go to the Obama site, you will see that anyone can create a blog. Like me, my uncle Fred, my Mom, and most people I know, Mattblacker was just some Obama supporter trying to help. Suggesting that he or Waco were in anyway connected with the Obama campaign is like suggesting that most of the posters here are affiliated with BigHeadDC.

As this nutty Sinclair episode itself proves, you can SAY anything on the Internet. That doesn’t make it true.

My advice to them would have been to just try to create–or have created–a WikiNews item, and refer to http://larrysinclair.com.

    ‘Nuff said.

I have deleted this article as I believe it met G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion:…WjBscribe 05:22, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

ironically, my motive was to prevent an attack on Obama, but trying to explain the “Allegations.” I was not trying to attack Sinclair at all, but others seemed to be later. I simply wanted some kind of place besides YouTube where the facts could be found. Clearly, Wikipedia;s neutrality rules don’t lend themselves to that sort of purpose. I am glad you deleted it, as it was being tranformed into something not intended. Matteblack (talk) 05:29, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Interesting that this story, the McCain and lobbyist story, etc…all came out to possibly over-shadow Mrs. Obama’s remarks about for once in her adult life she is proud of America, the great country that has provided her and her family many freedoms and opportunities over the years. Good question. I won’t pretend to know the real answer, but there’s a theory that has the Republicans already having knowledge of Mr. Sinclairs’s damaging claims as far back as October 2007 but choosing to have their ranks vote heavily as independents for Obama and once he was the nominee they would have the MSM share Mr. Sinclair’s interactions with Obama.

Larry FAILED the test, which is why they are looking for a second opinion.

    LARRY WAS ALREADY CAUGHT LYING.

Larry was in a mental institution during 1999.

Larry claims: “I was in the Chicago area from November 3, 1999 thru November 8, 1999 to attend the graduation of my God son from the Great Lakes Navy Training Center outside Chicago.”

So, after looking up the graduation for the Great Lakes Navy Training Center for 1999, and nutjob Larry’s God son must have been pretty disappointed that he missed his graduation. The 1999 Great Lakes Navy Training Center graduation took place between October 17-18, as detailed in the travel diaryby these fine folks who actually attended that graduation: www.crabcoll.com/journal/seasons.html.

Larry Sinclair lives at 600 W Superior St. #604 Duluth MN 55802. According to H.U.D. records which are also public, that address is a building with 154 units called Gateway Tower and is a complex for the elderly and disabled; a government subsidized home for the mentally ill and disabled.

This is Larry Sinclair. First. I am posting this message in venues where I know my situation is discussed.First off, let me apologize for the roller coaster ride I have put some of you through(myself included). I have been going through various issues as of late, and have been having quite a tough time. I sincerely appreciate all the support I have received from ALL OF YOU(you know who you are). However, I think it’s time this all was finished. I was not being honest. I did not give oral sex to Barak Obama, nor have I ever met him. I have just been extremely lonely lately, and I guess I needed attention. I want to assure you all the money I received from this(both from whitehouse.com and The Globe Magazine) will ALL go to charity. When all is said and done, I will NOT HAVE PROFITED from this. Now that I have disclosed this, I hope you all will respect my right to privacy, and let it rest. I have made some good friends during this, and will always cherish and respect the ones who have helped me.

    Thank you,
    Larry Sinclair
