A writer posting on the official Sen. Barack Obama campaign for president community Web site has responded to Larry Sinclair’s allegations of drug use and a sexual encounter with Obama in 1999.
The writer, named Matte Black, says that he has started a Wikipedia “debunking” page regarding Sinclair’s allegation, in part, Black says, because “the gossip site, bigHeadDC is pumping it up routinely.”
Black, an Arlington, Va.-based Obama supporter, refers to Sinclair as a “clown,” and he insists that the Web site WhiteHouse.com is Sinclair’s sponsor.
Sources closely familiar with Sinclair’s situation take this action as a sign that the Obama campaign is becoming more worried about Sinclair’s allegations coming to light in the mainstream media.
