The John McCain campaign has responded to a New York Times article, published online Wednesday evening, which raises several ethical concerns about the senator from Arizona. The piece alludes to a possible recent affair between McCain and a lobbyist, Vicki Iseman, although McCain denies having had a sexual relationship with her. The campaign’s statement follows:
“It is a shame that The New York Times has lowered its standards to engage in a hit-and-run smear campaign. John McCain has a 24-year record of serving our country with honor and integrity. He has never violated the public trust, never done favors for special interests or lobbyists, and he will not allow a smear campaign to distract from the issues at stake in this election.
“Americans are sick and tired of this kind of gutter politics, and there is nothing in this story to suggest that John McCain has ever violated the principles that have guided his career.”

Well technically, that’s true. To remind readers, the “principles that have guided McCain’s career” include war crimes, pathological lying, stomach-turning racism (he continues to refer to Vietnamese as “gooks”
, wild-eyed cheerleading for Bush’s Iraq bloodbath, massive self-enrichment at public expense and (big surprise) serial adultury.
McCain did nothing wrong. So what if he had an ex girlfriend whom don’t get along any more. Who has not be the first to cast the first stone. BUt this Larry Sinclair is not good for OBama
Hehe, he didn’t actually deny the affair, he basically just said “how dare you make these accusations, I’m a war veteran.”
This is getting tough to follow.
McCain had an affair with a lobbyist.
Obama did drugs and got a hummer from a gay crackhead and copied someone else’s speeches.
Hillary might be a lesbian with her female aide.
And to think, people didn’t even know FDR was in a wheelchair back in the day.
It’s an old story. Why did the NYT print it now. Why isn’t the NYT following up on its Oct. 2007 story about Obama and his lobbyist friends from Ariel Fund. Obama introduced Ariel to the Illinois Pension Board and just coinsidently received $300K from Ariel’s owners. Ariel fund is on the pension board’s watch list. You mean good old Obama would have us invest in a shakey fund. Do tell. Not to mention Rezko. What about Oprah. She’s all business do you really believe she doing this out of the goodness in her heart. I bet there be a big reward for Oprah somehow. Someone really needs to get on the press for ignoring Obama’s big flaws while pointing out those of the other candidates. Everbody should check the Better Government Association’s website before voting for Obama. If they think he’s nice well they are fools. Check it out, the Better Government Association is nonpartisan.
