Back in the 2004 debates, Kerry said a very nice thing about Vice President Cheney’s openly gay daughter Mary, and the right went bat-shit crazy, saying that the candidates family should be 100% off limits in a campaign. Nevermind that Mary was an official in the Bush-Cheney campaign and was therefore an active part, by choice, of the political process….

Let’s see how much outrage the right shows about this. I predict that rather than being outraged by Shuster’s comment, which was way way worse than anything Kerry said, they will complain that MSNBC is somehow “owned” by the Clinton’s and this is further proof of the left-wing media conspiracy.

Will Malkin, Limbaugh, Savage, O’Falafel, Hannity, etc. show any of the same outrage they showed in 2004 when Kerry complimented Cheney on doing such a fine job of raising a very nice daughter?

Until they can this guy, I will boycott MSNBC. It’s bad enough they keep that sexist pig Chris Matthews and that liberal freak Olbermann. Hey, Keith, why don’t you go back to Sportscenter and make stupid jokes about a guy hitting a home run? That was the only thing you were good at BTW! But it’s sad that Tucker is the most respectable one left on MSNBC and they’ve been trying to get rid of him for months!

Can you imagine if Shuster said Obama was pimping his wife on the campaign trail? Fired immediately.
