Ultimately, the president will not play a crucial role in legalizing personal use for adults. It will be done by a bunch of bickering in the house, along with additions to the bill that gives the opposition something it wants. The president’s role will not come until the very end when the bill hits his/godforbidher desk. Neither of them are for legalization. They are for drug courts and shit like that. It’s a big leap of faith to just say they will be for it, when Obama himself claims to be for drug courts and substance abuse programs. I for one think drug courts are retarded. They are usually harsher than the sentence for first time offenders so it only gets people who are easily intimidated by the government. I will say, there are alot of presidents who probably weren’t against the use, but they didn’t want to hurt their image by speaking up. I hear a rumour Bill Clinton is one of these people. Anyway, if we are lucky, we will see marijuana reform within the next 100 years

The only reason people move to harder drugs is because they clear from your system alot faster than pot does. You can work anywhere that has a random drug screen and smoke crack and not sweat bullets because a day or two sober and your clean. You smoke a joint on Saturday night and get popped Thursday after next you’re still screwed!

To the person who says people who smoke pot are losers… What is your definition of a loser??? Is it someone who works 5 days a week 12 hours a day and makes 80,000 a year and goes to school part time to further their education????, I have horrible anxiety problems, I have went through 10 different prescription drugs trying to find one to deal with the issue. All prescribed from my doctor, not one of them worked without having some kind of awful side effect. The first time I smoked pot my anxiety subsided for once in my life without any major side effects. I was amazed and extremely happy. Since that day I have smoked pot almost everyday because of this reason alone. I have never been caught with marijuana but I know plenty of people who have. The government is taking people who are good hard working people and ruining their lives because they wanted to smoke a joint and relax, because they did not want to take drugs with 100’s of side effects or drink alch witch can kill you, or become addicted to ciggs for the rest of their life and develop cancer at some point because of it. The fact of the matter is this country’s laws are so ass backward that we are incriminating people for having possession of a plant that is less harmless then 100’s of legal drugs that you can buy at any god damn CVS, these are drugs that are killing people every year, ciggs, alch, pain killers the works. I mean jesus kids now are drinking cough syrup to get fucked up but we don’t incriminate people for having that in their possession when its 5 times more potent then pot ever will be and can kill you.
