We’re not understanding the causation thesis put forward here by Politico’s Anne Schroeder Mullins. Of course, this wouldn’t be the first time she’s utterly confused us.

The only eyebrows that would be raised on this issue would be those at Fox News. These two things are so totally unrelated, that I would classify this post as a “L” for Politico. The fact that anyone would think that a news channel would “win” by a candidate dropping out of the race is absurd on its face. While I would like to think that Anne is a former writer for the onion who just forgot which medium she currently worked for I sadly doubt that is the case
