MADDOW: I will tell you that on the influential-influential, perhaps, on the left-Web site Talking Points Memo today, you want to know who they’re blaming for women voters breaking for Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama, who they’re blaming for this late showing and a big vote for Hillary Clinton? They’re blaming Chris Matthews. People are citing specifically Chris-not only for his own views but also for…as symbol of what the mainstream media has done to Hillary Clinton.

MATTHEWS: My influence over American politics looms over the people. I’m overwhelmed myself.
MADDOW: People feel the media is piling on Hillary Clinton and they’re coming to her defense with their vote.
This morning I heard Matthews spout off his mouth again, saying Hillary may get the nomination because voters feel sorry for her and because she stayed with a cheating husband. Now,I know he is embarrassed because his brother caught him enjoying Hillary’s pat on the cheek, but this was going too far. She does not get anything because of Bill’s cheating, but she fights for everything in spite of his cheating. I like Obama too, but question his judgement in choosing battles to be fought at this time, so I say: YOU GO, GIRL.
I’m surprised how strong my feelings for Hillary are enmeshed in a general “punch Chris Matthews in the dick” sentiment.

Ann I agree with you . Journalist should be held to a higher standard.I heard Chris Matthews bring up race after Hillary won New Hampshire. Hillary has been under attack and shows that she can withstand anything that comes her way .Can’t say the same about some of the others.
Interesting that Chris seems to be toning down his act toward Hillary in recent days. Did he get a memo from higher up?
I have enjoyed watching Chris matthews until recently. That also goes for some of the others on msnbc except for Dan Abrams. Dan is fair. Journalist should be held to a higher standard.
I have been following Chris Matthews since he was on the Mclaughlin Report and I thought highly oh even though we didn’t agree on everything. This election has spouted a mean spirited, haughty, know it all attitude and it is not winning. His unfair and biased treatment of Hillary is nasty. I, too, heard him say she only is a NY Sneator and candidate for President because her husband was President and fooled around. Shame on you Chris, would you like someone to say that about your wife, mother or daughter? Maybe your wife got her nice lucrative new job because people feel sorry for her because you are her husband and they want to help her out? Give me a break!
Matthews… Chris doesn’t hate Hillary the politician. He subconsciously disrespects women, all women, in general. I don’t think he really gets it, but he’s going to be sorely surprised when women’s groups accross this nation finally take enough of his sexist crap and the big guys at NBC cut his stupid ass. It a shame. I love a guy who love politics as much as he does, but as a contemporary of his, and a somewhat salty dog myself, I have to say I’m sick of his mindless treatment of women on the air.
Dan Abrams is fair? You’ve got to be kidding! Dan Abram’s show is nothing more than a “bash” any Rebulican, especially the administration, show. He is so blatant he’s just boring and juvenile acting!
Maddow is such an advocate lesbian frump (oh, the absolute worst, be one or those other, but not all, please) while Hillary screaching old power monger. They both yesterday and wallowing around in themselves.
