Mitt Romney accused Ron Paul of not understanding Islamic Jihadism, and Rudy Giuliani said Paul’s foreign policy is flawed during tonight’s ABC News debate. Paul’s war opinions became center stage many times during the proceedings.
Paul, who has been left out of a forum to take place on FOX News tomorrow evening, become a last minute addition to the lineup after the ABC News network received criticism for initially excluding the GOP congressman.
I would like to know:
Why does Obama say it was a mistake to go to Iraq? The end result this far is that 25 million people got to vote. The brutal dictator killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqi’s is of no more. I will never apologize and i support President Bush.
Why is it that all Democratic candidates (except Bill Richardson) say it is ok to invade Pakistan? Pakistan has not attacked us and have done nothing wrong as the Democrats complained about poor old Saddam.
Why is it ok to invade Pakistan, but not to take out a brutal dictator and give 25 million Iraqi’s a chance at democracy? Don’t the Democrats want democracy in Iraq?
Why would you not invade Iran, but the Democrats will invade Pakistan?
Lastly, Hillary, please let me point out that President Bush didn’t invade Waco he invaded a brutal dictator. President Bush took actions against Saddam after many many failed UN policies, which all Democrats are allowing Iran to do the same repeat.
Since when has our people supported invasion of any kind? Defense of our nation, yes. Until recently, our nation has never been an offensive and attacking nation. Let’s get back to our core values.
Judith with all due respect the real question isn’t whether a certain group of Americans want Democracy in Iraq but whether or not the Iraqis themselves want Democracy and how much are they willing to sacrifice in order to achieve it. We managed to start up our own democracy not on the backs of another nation but on the resolve and steadfastness of other American patriots.
It is not our job to spread Democracy. We were not ordained by God as the saviors of the world. Our Soldiers sign up to defend our Constitution and protect our country. Neither of which are taking place in Iraq. They are dying for your ideological beliefs. It’s a tough pill to swallow but we’re gonna have to face facts sooner or later. All we do is replace one evil dictator with another repeatedly and it’s simply insane. We are our own greatest enemy as long as we pursue this foolhardy agenda.
