Oh, NOW I get why you guys lack any sense of humor or self-deprecation about this post - Gawker, the NYC-based, Nick Denton-run gossip site, posted this DC-based story first.

Yeah, I saw your response in that post - another typo in the form of a huge-ass run-on sentence:
“Ken Layne, who had run the Wonkette blog with Alex Pareene for a majority of 2006 and 2007, was asked to leave the blog by Denton when Clarke signed up has temporarily filled the position.”
