How did John Edwards meet his alleged mistress Rielle Hunter (aka Lisa Druck)? He commissioned her small, largely unknown film production company called Midline Groove Productions last year to help create a series of intimate videos showing him in a supposedly flattering light. Hunter played his director for many of the segments, which saw Edwards really open up, and lose his “plastic Ken doll” quality, as he is heard saying in one of the videos. Both Edwards and Hunter appear very loose in the lips when he’s discussing the scripting of a speech in the video below:

He is not drunk. He just has a Southern Drawl going. You really are jumping to conclusions with these videos. Some sections look a bit suspicious (couple of camera angle/shots and missing sections of footage) but on the whole pretty scandal free stuff.
