Call him wishy washy on abortion, gun control and other stuff, too, but GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney was firm on one crucial issue during his appearance on Meet the Press today: His house is not pink.

After host Tim Russert read an excerpt from a recent Boston Globe article that called out Romney, a critic of illegal immigration, for using illegal immigrants to perform yardwork at his Massachusetts residence, the White House wannabe said: “I have to clear up the most egregious error in that article. It said my house was pink. I would not have a pink house, I assure you.”

Russert didn’t seem amused enough to ask the obvious follow-up: What color is Romney’s house, and how could the Boston Globe have gotten that detail wrong? Is Romey implying the reporers in Boston are color blind? We think this situation warrants an immediate investigation.
