Update, noon: Terry McAuliffe, the leader of the HRC team, is already taking to the airwaves to declare that there is no shake-up in the makeup of the campaign staff. Yes, kids, the rumors are apparently stinging. And McAuliffe has got to be pretty mad at his friend Bill Clinton for taking the internal squabbles public.
Original, 11:02 a.m.: Various campaign insiders are leaking to press outlets that Bill Clinton is peeved big time that campaign leaders for Hillary Clinton have allowed Barack Obama to take so many potshots at his wife without receiving a similarly negative response.
Several staff members may be fired and replaced, Big Head DC hears, with the likes of James Carville — someone who definitely knows how to play dirty politics. And a close Bill pal still.
Although Carville’s wife, Mary Matalin, is actively advising Fred Thompson’s GOP presidential campaign, Carville has rarely been involved in political campaigns as a principal adviser to a candidate since Clinton’s 1992 presidential victory.

Under any other circumstances, Obama would/could offer him the vice presidency in exchange for dropping out, but Silky’s already been there and done that. Exit question: Are there any cabinet positions he could offer him instead? Labor secretary, maybe? Silky’s totally unqualified, but then he’s totally unqualified for everything except delivering closing arguments at personal injury trials. […]

James, I’m worried that all of Hill’s supporters are going to vote for McCain and his “play girl” and then she will be in line for the next election should he win the election this year! please get out the word what will happen to Hill if this happens!!!
James, I worried that all of Hill’s supporters are going to vote for McCain and his “play girl” at this years election. If he should win it, she (palin) will be in line to run at next election, and that will put Hill up against her (Palin). If we want Hill to be the first lady Pres, we can’t let this happen!!! Please get the word out to all these ladies who are so upset about what has happened to Hill this time. They may be the downfall of Hill in the end.
