We need to grow up as a society. Gossip is corosive not only to those who it is about, but also to those who repeat it. If what you read truly disappoints you in the character of a person, then try praying for them instead of beating them down. We should also separate these two stories. The one about Sen.Lott is noteworthy of public attention b/c it underscores a hypocrisy in policy. The one about Sen. Clinton, if true is not in my mind, b/c there would be no hypocrisy if it turned out to be true. She has been a supporter of constitutional rights for gays. Sen. Lott has not, and therfore it would be worth noting if he turned out to be gay at the same time.

Except she’s married and does not support same-sex marriage.

If she is a lesbian, I wish she’d just explain herself.

If it is no big deal to be a lesbian married to an unfaithful man, and we should vote for one as president, I have no objection to that message. I invite Hillary to be honest about her life and convince me she has enough courage to walk away from her desire for the presidency rather than live a lie. Imagine the lesson she could provide in character by such an act.

Of course, she would never do that, and for that reason I can never vote for such a person.
