The rumors are picking up steam regarding a possible story the LA Times is holding that apparently contains devastating information about either a sitting senator and/or a candidate running for president. Today the Washington Post ups the ante:

Oh, everyone’s heard that rumor. But even if the LA Times is sitting on a big sex scandal, remember that pollsters tend to sample caucus goers by random digit dial, which inflates the immediate impact of candidate negatives and undercounts voter history.
