Perhaps all of these lesbian rumors about Hillary Clinton are actually helping her, rather than hurting, as some political pundits have suggested? Her campaign released this week a list of over 20 noteworthy pro-gays who are going to bat for her. Supporters include H. Alexander Robinson, executive director of the National Black Justice Coalition; Dana Beyer, who is transgender and a member of the Human Rights Campaign board of governors; and Rep. Patricia Todd, the first openly gay member of the Alabama House of Representatives.
“I am honored to have the support of these leaders in the LGBT community,” Clinton said. “Together, we can end the divisive politics of the current administration and renew the promise of fairness and equality for all Americans.”
Clinton’s camp released another list of gay supporters in April, which included sports legend Billie Jean King.
