According to a published report, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum can’t locate or account for approximately 80,000 valuable mementos from his White House years. The National Archives inspector general has concluded that the library in Simi Valley suffers from sloppy record-keeping, security breakdowns and major storage problems. National Archives spokeswoman Susan Cooper has told the LA Times that her agency is working to account for the missing items.
