tucker2.jpgBig Head DC has just received word from Tucker Carlson himself that rumors floating around the blogosphere today (which were stirred up by an unnamed NBC exec in the NY Times yesterday) are false — MSNBC has not canceled his program behind his back. “We’re on the air as far as I know,” Carlson tells us. “I’m heading to the studio right now in fact.”

Could MSNBC have made a decision to drop him without telling him first? Or is it a possibility that someone within MSNBC who doesn’t like Carlson floated the inaccurate rumors, as we’ve heard from our own NBC sources? When we contacted Carlson about the alleged cancellation mentioned by the NBC exec yesterday, he seemed to confirm the latter line of thought, saying, “TV’s a dangerous business.”

That’s funny. When I spoke to Tucker*, he told me it was over. Finished. He was done. He sounded drunk. And like he had been crying. Then he asked me if I knew anyone at FOX News who could give him a job.

    * Legal disclaimer: Okay, I didn’t really speak to Tucker. It was actually a tranny I met on the street who just looked like Tucker. LOTS of trannys look like Tucker.

He’s an ignorant hack. His attempted hatchet job on the reporter from the scotsman was a joke. He had the temerity to question UK journalism standards when he’s one of the worst examples of partisan obfuscating journalism that this country seems to favour.
Americans, do yourselves and the world a favour and throw the lot of these idiots in the trash. They’re damaging your country.
