Personally if two or more adults (or near adults) want to show affection to each other in public, that’s their business. If anyone is lucky enough in this life to love and be loved, then be happy and show it.

I agree with what Shelly had to say - this is so far down on a list of real news events that you should be ashamed to waste resources on it and your sponsors should pull your funding.
Also, gay, straight or other - heaven knows we need more love in this world and less of the other bs. So if you find somebody that makes the sun shine for you, God bless and good for you. I don’t have a problem with people who think it’s gross/nasty or wrong (opinions are like buttholes and everyone has one) I have a problem with those who think it is their right to try and STOP people from loving who they love.
I do agree that ABC could better be using thier resources, however gay/lesbians relations are apart of someones lives and ABC has to know it’s audience. I mean a christian group boycotted Disney for a few years because of their gay weekend events. Not that Disney even noticed but still. They need to know what the majority of thier audience will accept.

I wonder if anyone steps back to revel in the irony of it all? A hundred years ago women couldn’t vote and black people couldn’t marry. Now the religious right (based on mythology and astrology see movie zeitgeist) has those same people that were oppressed fighting freedom and rights of gay people. EVEN if the debate is one in the favor of intelligent and rational thinkers and we support gay rights, have you noticed that even the pro arguments describe gay people as a condition or choice? Why not just say PEOPLE unless we’re going to bring back the word nigger too?
