This lady’s got moxy! “D.C. Madam” Deborah Jeane Palfrey wants a new judge and new prosecutors, too.”

“Palfrey, in a motion filed Thursday in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, says that Senior Judge Gladys Kessler has shown bias and hostility towards her and her civil attorney, Montgomery Blair Sibley, whom Kessler forbade from sitting next to Palfrey during criminal proceedings,” reports Legal Times. “[S]he also accuses Kessler of moving slowly, though Palfrey is on her second court-appointed lawyer — she said the first, Federal Public Defender A.J. Kramer, was too busy to handle the litigation — and has saddled the case with more than a dozen motions. Kessler, in a recent hearing, complained of a lack of progress.”

Palfrey also asked the court to remove Assistant U.S. attorneys Daniel Butler, Catherine Connelly and William Cowden from the case, alleging that they “disclosed privileged settlement communications for a malicious and improper use.”

Say what you will about Palfrey. She knows her way around a courtroom.
