Rev. Lennox Yearwood, Jr., president of the Hip Hop Caucus, was attacked by six capitol police today, when he was stopped from entering the Cannon Caucus Room on Capitol Hill, where Gen. David Petraeus gave testimony today to a joint hearing for the House Arms Services Committee and Foreign Relations Committee on the war in Iraq.

What a complete, total moron! What an idiot! If you don’t have the credentials–you don’t have the credentials. And what kind of idiotic, stupid move is it to try to run into a Congressional hearing with at least six Capitol Police officers standing around you? What did you think would happen? People like this just give politics a bad name.
Yeah, it isn’t the place to demonstrate. It wouldn’t be allowed in a court of law nor is it allowed in a congressional hearing.
