Blogger Mike Rogers, who first outed Larry Craig in October amidst the Mark Foley scandal, argued on last night’s Hannity & Colmes program that Republicans seem to have a double standard when it comes to punishing lawmakers who have committed crimes.
“It’s astonishing to me to see, regardless of this incident, how there’s a different set of rules for Larry Craig because he was with men than, say, a Rep. Kevin Brady, who was guilty of a drunk driving offense,” Rogers said.
“I would say there are a different set of rules for Clinton, or for Gerry Studs,”
Sean Hannity replied — to which Rogers responded, “But Bill Clinton was impeached!”
