Since Gawker Media titan Nick Denton — and owner of Wonkette — seems to keep his eyes creepily attuned on whatever Big Head DC is doing, we decided to return the favor today by sending out a big birthday kiss to Nick’s brother.
How do we know it’s Nick’s brother’s birthday, you ask?
Well! It came straight from a drunken Denton’s mouth, of course! (He’s notorious for telling terrific tales when trying to get some tail.)
However! We haven’t received our invite yet, so if there are any floating around that any of you darling sparkly ponies might care to share with us, we’re always here — and ready to post the dirt. But be careful! We hear Denton’s gay mafia might be watching.

Here’s the deal, Wendy. I think Laurel Touby, the founder of Mediabistro, is a saucy, smart lady, and should be admired for her overall business sense. Anyone who builds an empire out of a feather boa should be heralded, dontcha think? Her choice of Patrick Gavin to lead FishbowlDC, however, has been a mistake, as we’ve been chronicling here for ages. I would never boycott Touby, but I’d boycott Gavin in a heartbeat. And, alas, my calendar is filled up for the 18th, so I couldn’t schedule a rival party if I wanted to. But let’s talk about one in the future.

Nick Denton’s baby bro is a cutie. And his head is much smaller than Nick’s noggin’. Does anyone know if he’s gay. I’d take my chances even if he’s not.

I’ve done research with the blogger network for justice, analyzing various Washington and Philadelphia blogs. Based on my analysis I’ve determined that Big Head DC is much more profitable than Wonkette. Look at the records based in the digital library project.
First of all, Nick Denton is NOT a very good lover. I’d say he’s only so-so in the sack and DEFINITELY not tantric, if you know what I mean.
Second, Nick has been obsessed with Rob and Big Head DC for a long time. He views Rob as his main competition for Wonkette. Strange but true. He’s constantly paranoid that Rob is going to stomp Wonkette into the sand.
And I am not a sock puppet. This comment is the real deal!
I find this whole obsession of Nick’s to be borderline sick. I once had a boyfriend who suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder who I had to take care of full time after his wife dumped him. This new scenario sends chills up my spine.
This obsession of Nick’s is sick. I hope Rob has protection!
