It’s been only one week since The Atlantic’s Andrew Sullivan married his longtime beau Aaron Tone in Provincetown, Mass. — and already rumors are floating in the blogosphere that the two have had a ginormous fight and plan to divorce.

A reputable source close to the couple tells Big Head DC that Sullivan has heard the stories and says they are “completely false.” He believes the rumors may have gotten started by traditional opponents of gay marriage who want to play off stereotypes that all gays are sexually promiscuous.

Sullivan is expected to return from his honeymoon tomorrow to begin blogging anew.
