Something seems out of bounds in soccer world.
Another post-game DC United/LA Galaxy has popped up, to be hosted at Play Lounge on Thursday night by Victoria Michael, Sarah Rosenwinkel and Laura Rosenwinkel.
It will be competing with the Bobby Boswell party at Lima on the same night.
Will David Beckham end up getting confused and not show at either event? Stay tuned.

This is a lame attempt by a couple of wannabes.
DCU is supporting the BobbyBoswell.com event. They are sponsored by the Greater Washington Sports Alliance and have tons of confirmed A-list celebrities. A lot better than a bunch of cougars supporting a kid on the DEVELOPMENTAL SQUAD. Think becks wants to be with the Royalty of DC… as Boswell was shooting Becks BBC show all day and BBC also already checked out LIMA for footage options… Not a hard one… pathetic on the part of the couagrs though…
Why dont you check out the party at Play (starts at 9) and then come over to ours? The real party kicks off around 1030 when the players are done with press at the stadium ;-) Thanks for your support, DC United appreciates it!!

Seriously, in the whole scheme of this world, why is this going to be the be all and end all? It won’t, and by next week or the next DAY, everyone will have forgetten and will be moving on to something else. Big Deal. Go to both parties and call it a night, or morning. That’s what I am doing.

Yeah, but why did the others sked this event to conflict with the DC United sponsored one?
It wasn’t supposed to. I think the idea was initally to have ONE party, but two separate groups started working on their own with their own agendas. They decided to just do one for each team. It is meant for people to go to both. This is about AN AFTER PARTY, not a battle. This is supposed to be FUN. Do we remember this word? Candidly, it probably will work better, both teams and guests may have a hard time fitting into one place comfortably. And depending who ends with the “W”, some may choose to hang out with one team over the other. We shall see Thursday night!
We are not throwing a party for DC United or David Beckham, and its not sponsored or being deliberately promoted. We are doing something low key for the Galaxy because they asked us too. There has been no attempt to compete with, or sabotage KK’s party. Katherine was informed and well aware of what we were doing long ago, and was supportive because she was canceling hers at first. Hers will be a different, much bigger and more extravagant event, and everyone should go and check her party out. Thanks.
Has anyone thought about Laura Rosenwinkel before posting these rude comments? She is a wonderful person and is throwing a small, invite only party for her boyfriend that plays for LA Galaxy. Give her a break, there is no competition and kk knew this was happening all along.
Has anyone thought about Victoria, who does PR for Play, or Sarah, or Laura? All 3 are really nice, awesome young women who, to agree with T, were doing a favor for Sarah’s boyfriend, Kyle, who plays for the Galaxy. Get a grip people. All you rude people were not supposed to be at Play anyway - as it was mentioned - this is a small PRIVATE get together for friends of the girls and the Galaxy. Please PLEASE, do everyone a favor and go to LIMA!
