DeborahJeanePalfrey.com, the popular Web site operated by Deborah Jeane Palfrey, has gotten a complete overhaul. Phantom Limb Web Design led the effort to make searching for information about the “DC Madam” more user-friendly.
“I first saw Ms. Palfrey as she read her statement on the steps on CNN,” Mike Kuykendall, owner of the company, tells Big Head DC. “Considering her alleged crime, 31 months on intensive investigation seemed extreme to me, and obviously calculated to try and take down someone sitting on 42 pounds of telephone records.”
Kuykendall has since covered Palfrey’s story extensively on his blog.
“I ran into her original site, which was somewhat simple and needed retooling,” he recalls. “Her lawyer Montgomery Sibley, while great at law, lacked the technical skills to put up a truly marketable site. Considering the traffic her site would get with each bombshell from the DC Phone Listers, my company, Phantom Limb Web Design, decided to lend a hand.”
