Tommy Thompson is running for president.

Fred Thompson is more than likely running for president.

And now Ed Thompson, Tommy’s bro, is thinking about running for the Libertarian Party’s presidential nomination next year. The pol is popular locally, having served as both mayor and city councilman in Tomah, Wisconsin. He also received over 10 percent of the gubernatorial vote in 2002 running as a libertarian.

But could too many Thompsons spoil the soup?

Reputable sources tell Big Head DC that Tommy has tried to dissuade Ed from making a decision until after the GOP primaries are settled.
