It’s not every e-mail we receive that starts out like this: “You are undoubtedly aware of the $54 million pants lawsuit.”
Why, yes, we are. And we know that the legal system has found resoundingly in favor of the laundry mat owners, Jin and Soo Chung, who were sued by Judge Roy Pearson because he said they lost his pants.
However, their ordeal is not yet over; they have drained their saving accounts in contesting the lawsuit, racking up over $100,000 in legal expenses. The judge in the case recently denied request for immediate reconsideration, but Pearson is widely anticipated to file a formal appeal.
